《＃野蠻遊戲：＃瘋狂叢林》完全出乎意料之外好看

原以為單單又是一部在奧斯卡鬧劇本荒時期時

只拍重啟及續集下的雞肋產物

但這部電影在故事娛樂及喜劇歡樂程度上

卻給足觀眾滿滿的誠意及用心

即使故事厚度太過單薄依然是喜劇片的通病

依然不減對此片的喜出望外之感

原本期望會有續集的產生

但依照最後結尾那樣斬釘截鐵的劃下句點

看來是沒有什麼希望了

We are stoked to be able to watch Jumanji 2 on the day that the little sister turns 5! Truth be told, I've been looking to this sequel for long because of how I fell in love with the first movie - starring one of my all-time favourite actors Robin Williams - back in 1995. I loved it so much that I watched it a few times and even got the kids to watch it with me recently too!

While this second movie (starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillman, Kevin Hart and Jack Black) is quite different from the first and the plot is quite predictable, we still enjoyed the thrill, action and humour that kept us entertained throughout.

The best part was we were at the newly opened GV Paya Lebar, which sits on the third level of SingPost Centre and boasts a total of 756 seats, and they have rolled out a new initiative called Family Friendly Screenings. In order to create a child-friendly environment and help people like you and me be able to bring our kids to the cinema without constantly worrying if we are disturbing other patrons, these special screenings are held exclusively at GV Paya Lebar every Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoons (1 screening per day).

It was a relief to see that most of the other patrons had young kids with them too and if one of the little ones started acting up or shouting too loudly, we totally understood each other. We were lucky tonight because the toddler slept nearly throughout (I thought that the noise wasn't too loud and the lights were dimmed just right) so this Mama got to enjoy most of the show while munching on the goodies we got from the Grab & Gold cafe right outside (Guess what? They have exclusive items on their menu like beef chilli cheese fries and banana fritters!)

We definitely hope to continue watching more movies as a family! Thanks to @gvmovieclub for having us and for coming up with this awesome initiative.
