4th Placing on RedBull 400 Copperpeak 😥
Expecting a podium finish but yea, my 3rd 4th placing finished in a race from La Verticale de la Tour (Eiffel Tower Run), to Taipei 101 Run Up and now Red Bull 400 Copperpeak.
I knew I still have something left in the tank on my first run as I cruised and finished first in my heat with the time of 5:22. In the Final, I slipped more than the heat, slowed down a lot from 100 - 250m mark. Gave my best effort to chase up, once reaches the ski jump, I dig deep and close the gap down. Ended up with 4th placing still. I would like to thank my friends, crowds, volunteers cheering for me, 'Go Malaysia!' while I was running up. They all know me as I did a really great job in the heat, leading 1-2 minute from second guy. Thank you so much for the cheers!
Overall, it was a really great experience racing up RedBull 400m and it's definitely the toughest 400m ever.
4th placing means that I have to come back next year 😎
Hope I will be able to run again next year, let's see when they going to do it for next year as they might going to rebuild the ski jump.
Also, I am really Happy to meet so many new friends here. A really awesome trip even though I didn't win but what matter is the experience I got. From visiting Ironwood, a small town in Michigan, met new friends, stay in the chalet with them, get to know so many people from the race and I am so happy that I met some of my fans on the race. They came and approach me and said can we have a picture together, I am one of your followers, I got inspired by you on climbing up the towers and you did really great. I am so glad to meet all the nice and kind Americans here.
Next Stop: Empire State Building Run Up on 14th May.
