Congratulations to Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and Fulbright Taiwan upon signing a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote U.S.-Taiwan exchanges in arts and culture! This agreement will provide grants for Taiwan art professionals to conduct short-term exchange projects in the United States in the areas of Arts Administration, Policy Research and Development, International Marketing, and Copyright Policy Studies. At the signing ceremony, Cloud Gate founder Lin Hwai-Ming shared his experience as a Fulbright scholar in New York and gave valuable advice to the future Fulbright grantees. It’s Arts, Culture and Sports Month! Did you know that Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture (MOC) and the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan) signed a new MOU in 2018 to promote U.S.-Taiwan arts and cultural exchanges? This year MOC will fund four Fulbright scholarships for art and cultural professionals in Taiwan focused on policy research, international marketing, and/or copyright policy studies to conduct three-month exchange programs in the United States.
