The 30th Summer Universiade just concluded in Naples, Italy, and congratulations to Taiwan for finishing in the 7th place, taking in 9 gold, 13 silver, and 10 bronze medals! 🎉🏀🎆July is AIT@40 Arts, Culture and Sports Month! AIT got a visit from a very special guest the other day! 劉柏君 （Sophiyah Liu） , AIT’s nominee for our 2017 Global Sports Mentoring Program, received the World Trophy from the IOC’s Women and Sports Awards and dropped by to share her excitement and show us her trophy. Sophiyah is Taiwan’s first female umpire for men’s baseball, and served as an umpire at the 2017 World University Games.
