Hey guys, some of you asked me about the ingredients in my “superfood smoothie” that I posted in my stories. So here it is 🙌🏻:
Chia seeds, maca powder, spirulina, raw cacao powder, acai powder, brown rice protein, goji berries powder (or dried), flax seeds, coconut water & coconut milk.
I make a huge batch and mix several spoons with coconut water & coconut milk every morning. Super convenient. The recipe always changes depending on what I need. This one is def a favourite 💯.
I made a video on YouTube awhile back which include the benefits of each ingredient, & the measurements.

Practice Nadi Shodhana for as minimum of 5 minutes to receive benefits and practice for longer 10-15 for even more benefits.
The benefits of practicing includes:
Calm and better sleep quality: The ancient yogis taught that if you can learn to regulate the way you breathe, you can gain greater control over your mind as well. This is particularly helpful when you experience times of stress or anxiety. By slowing down your breath, you can slow down your mind as well.
Soothing Nervous System: by slowing down your breath, the brain will send signals to your nervous system bringing it from fight & flight response to calm & relaxed.
Mental clarity: which is why it’s great to practice before an important presentation, exam, or meeting!
Revitalisation: it gives you a boost of energy.
Practice everyday to keep yourself calm, cool, collected and happy! We don’t have to look far for remedies to relax. In fact one of the most powerful ways is something we can easily practice!

Nadi Shodhana冥想(清理经络调息法)
练习Nadi Shodhana至少5分钟,以获得益处,练习10-15分钟以获得更多的益处。

How to meditate
冥想姿勢:
其實比我們想像中更簡單,真的就只是坐下來閉上眼就好了,不用執著於蓮花坐不蓮花坐的問題上。你只需要考慮兩點:1.你個人的舒適感;2. 不要舒適到你會睡著(如果你是為了舒緩失眠則除外)
冥想時間長度:
沒有所謂,5分鐘、10分鐘也可以。也可以慢慢增加到30分鐘。冥想時間並非愈長愈好,最重要是你在過程中有進入到狀態。冥想並非放空,需要我們一定的專注力,我們才不會入睡。所以過長的冥想時間會令我們精神疲勞,追求放鬆的我們不希望出現這個情況。
冥想時要想什麼?還是什麼都不要想:
冥想中有幾個主張,一種是建議你什麼都不要想,只專注於呼吸就好。另一種則建議你只需要將自己當成一個中間管道就好,不需要刻意去壓制想法(會出現想法本來就很自然),只需要在過程中觀察出現過的想法,我自己是偏好不壓制想法。

The word “Yoga” in Sanskrit means union. This is what we are trying to achieve with partner yoga, a sense of uniting two people. It is a great way to build connection in your relationships as the poses are meant to cultivate trust since you are relying on each other which will heighten your support for each other.
Benefits of partner yoga:
* More Fun! Exercising is always more enjoyable with a buddy. You can both try out challenging poses and encourage each other to reach your limits.
* Deepens connection. Both you and your partner will connect both physically and emotionally as you are trying to master the postures which enhances the closeness and connection in a special way.
* Enhances communication. In order to stay in the pose and not fall on our bum, we will need to tune in to our partner’s verbal and non verbal cues.
* Helps with stretching. We may use our own body weight to help each other deepen our stretches.
* Posture, alignment, and balance. Your partner will act like a mirror version of yourself. How about that? It is as if you have your own personal yoga teacher!
