Finally the day I've been waiting for!! Baby's first word!!!

Since yesterday I heard Dash saying "mama" but wasn't too sure... Today he kept repeating it!!!

Who's a proud mama? I am!!

Dash is 7 months and 16 days old, aka 33 weeks! He actually said "mama" some time ago when he was about 5 months, but he never repeated it again until yesterday, so maybe that was a fluke.

However... I'm not sure he knows mama refers to me. Maybe he is just repeating a word that I constantly say to him. Lol

Dash is also on the verge of crawling and standing with assistance. It's all pretty exciting!!

Dash recognizes Elmo's song when it's hummed to him!! Lol you actually only need to hum one verse and he will say "Elmo!".

This Good Night Elmo soft toy has been with Dash since his birth and is always in his cot with him. I was so overwhelmed with gifts then that I have no idea who gave this to me, but thank you because Dash likes Elmo!
