This is at Black & Ink (Eunos MRT) which first started with their salted egg yolk muffin, and had thot; "eh why not use the same sauce and have a croissant version too", since salted egg yolk croissant is all the craze now.
Well, I've always said that a good salted egg yolk croissant needs a good croissant to begin with. So yea.. Black & Ink 's croissant is so-so & the molten lava wasn't as strong yet sweeter.
A viable alternative if u happen to be in the area. Priced at SGD5.50, it's cheaper by SGD1 compared to Antoinette.
My right hand is holding their coffee muffin with salted egg yolk lava - another no go for me.
BUT - their gelato is awesome!! Mao Shang Wang & Dark Choc sorbet is love ❤️❤️!
