這次介紹的兩家餐廳,一家純素,一家素食;兩間分別我也到訪過兩次,也仍覺得會再回去 “encore” 吃的。今天起,讓肚子充滿純素又健康的好食物吧。
This year, because of the impact of the epidemic, we are now mostly staying at home. So, because of that, I’ve been writing much more about plant-based recipes but fewer restaurants reviews.
However, there are still two plant-based restaurants I would love to share with you guys. They are both newly open in 2020, one plant-based/ vegan and one vegetarian - I have visited them more than once, and pretty sure I will go back again for their delicious and healthy food.

Sai Kung has always been my favourite weekend destination. This is where I can get away from the hustle and bustle and have dim sums and coffee with my dogs (check out the last video 😆), visit my favourite “fishing boat” seafood market, and the giant fish in the Chinese restaurants always amazes me (Don’t forget to get an ice-cream from the mobile softee 🍦). Note that it could be quite busy during the weekend!
If you plan to spend your whole day in Sai Kung, coffee and dim sums are just not enough, check out the nearby islands and Geopark! Consider joining a guided tour to Sharp Island 橋咀島 and Hong Kong’s most well-preserved Hakka village - Yim Tin Tsai 鹽田梓. Check out Hong Kong Greetersfor the details of this exciting English tour on 21 June and 19 July. By the way, Sharp Island is listed as the “9 of Asia's Most Underrated Attractions” by CNN Travel 😱This is where you can find the pineapple rocks (see the photo)! Come and explore!
How to go: Take MTR to Diamond Hill station, Exit C2. Take bus 92. Or Take MTR to Shatin station and then bus 299X.

#Throwback to my holidays in Hong Kong where Hong's family day-tripping at Sai Kung 西貢. We took a short minibus trip to Sai Kung, a small fishing village with picturesque boats, beaches & mountain scenery.
.
Enjoy the sun very much which we were missing it in HK city cause it was super cold for me at 10 Celsius. A day at the beach here makes for a nice change of pace from the busy life in Hong Kong.
.
Fun to watch the fishermen selling their fresh live catch in the sampans as we stroll along the picturesque piers & it was a very colourful bustling floating seafood market scene.
.
Although there were many seafood restaurants along the seaside we didn't try as we were told there are quite costly & touristy-priced, so we opt to have another live seafood dinner at Lei Yue Mun.
.
Lei Yue Mun "鯉魚門" or Carp Channel is another fishing village where you pick the seafood from the market stall where they'll send it to one of the nearby restaurants, which will prepare it for a fee. Overall, the price is reasonable and the seafood is very fresh.
