Ever since Circuit Breaker started, I have been toying with the idea of creating ready meal packs of our favourite hawker or zi-char places. Doing takeaway is great but what if I live really far away from my favourite stall? It would mean that my food may not arrive warm or it will take a longer time to arrive during peak period.
One month ago, I spoke to the brothers from KEK Seafood Alexandra and they took up the challenge to create pre-cooked meals of their signature dishes. We had many rounds of discussions and fine-tuning. Finally, we are ready and will be debuting these convenient ready meal packs on Miss Tam Chiak’s Facebook Live this Friday. All you have to do is, heat up and makan! We will also be selling their homemade salted egg sauce, nonya sauce and sambal belachan. You won’t be able to get it anywhere else for now.
