8 things to do today - 8 việc để làm hôm nay:
1. Take a deep breath - Hít thở thật sâu
2. Do something nice for someone else - Làm một điều tốt cho ai đó
3. Look through old photographs - Ngắm nhìn lại những bức ảnh cũ
4. Put on an outfit you love - Mặc bộ đồ bạn thích
5. Give yourself a pep talk - Tự động viên bản thân
6. Carry a bottle of water with you - Mang theo mình một chai nước
7. Stay hydrated - Uống đủ nước
8. Get out in nature - Ra ngoài với thiên nhiên

I was informed that someone in the same studio was tested positive for Covid, so it was mandatory for the rest of us to get tested too.
𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚. ◡̈
The process was a breeze.
Though I was pretty nervous in the beginning as I thought it was as painful as it looked. In all honesty, it was slightly uncomfortable and unpleasant to be honest (who would like something up their nose). But definitely painless. My eyes were watery for about 10 secs and it was gone after that.
The front-liners were super friendly and kind. They joked and gave me a pep talk not worrying too much. Knowing how hot it is wrapped up in that plastic suit, thank you for risking your safety for us.
I went for a drive-through test which I’ve booked in advance (on the same day) and the entire procedure took at most 5-10 mins from parking my car, registration, tested and got my receipt.
Hope this clear up some doubts about the Covid swab test. And please being cautious and responsible during these difficult times - stay home, stay safe, mask up, and wash your hands frequently. 🙏🏻

One of Dan Lok’s passions in life is martial arts. Like many young kids, after watching a Bruce Lee movie, it changed his life forever. At 17 years old, Dan started training in martial arts seriously because he was being bullied in school. It wasn’t long for Dan to learn the techniques he needed, and gain the confidence necessary to defend himself.
Dan has studied with legendary martial artist such as Bruce Lee’s original student Ted Wong (http://tedwongjkd.net) and Joe Lewis “The Worlds Greatest Fighter” (http://joelewisassociation.com), making him a second generation student of Bruce Lee - in Bruce Lee's authentic art of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). He's also a third generation student of Ip Man (Wing Chun Kung Fu).
Dan has also trained with other great instructors like Sifu Adam Chan (https://www.pragmaticmartialarts.com), Canadian lightweight boxing champion Tony "Fire Kid" Pep (https://www.facebook.com/pepboxing), and Octavio Quintero (https://www.theartofjkd.com)
For Dan, martial arts training permeates every area of life. It’s not a hobby, it’s a way of life, and it influences how he does business.
Martial arts gave him the confidence, focus, and patience to push through these obstacles and to keep fighting when he felt like giving up.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dan is NOT a full-time martial artist and he doesn't even claim to be that good of a fighter.
He's simply a successful businessman who enjoys the art and philosophy of Bruce Lee, just like you.
He doesn't have any online martial art videos, seminars or expensive "private training" to sell you. Quite frankly, he doesn't need the money.
He simply wants to share his passion for the art of JKD (his own version of Jeet Kune Do) through his YouTube channel.

This will give you a healthy taste of reality, without actually hurting someone. Here’s why you should never punch in a real fight.

Wing Chun is well known for its unique structures, simultaneous blocking and striking, trapping, rapid vertical punches, a focus on using the shortest distance between two points, and a strategy that includes controlling the center with constant forward pressure. Many of the concepts and techniques work very well in self defense, but unfortunately the way they're most commonly taught and trained makes Wing Chun ineffective for both sport fighting and self defense.
