為了加強我國護照封面的台灣 #TAIWAN 辨識度
以及維護我國人海外旅遊權益及便利
經立法院決議，外交部報請行政院核定
調整護照封面設計
新版護照封面設計重點
📌 顏色不變，保留現行版本的元素及架構 ( 𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐍、中華民國、REPUBLIC OF CHINA、國徽、護照、PASSPORT)
📌 為清楚且容易辨別是「台灣護照」，放大 𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐍 字樣並將「𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐍」 及「PASSPORT」字樣緊鄰
📌 登載中、英文正式國名，並將英文正式國名 「REPUBLIC OF CHINA」環繞於國徽外圈
考量印製流程及安全存量
以及通知 #國際航空運輸協會 ( IATA)
與各國政府、機場港口海關、移民局等相關機關與航空公司
還有寄送樣本給國內外相關機關等作業時間等因素
我國新版護照規劃於 #明年1月 發行
已持有護照的民眾
可以繼續使用目前護照至效期截止
如果想提前申請換發新版護照
明年1月
可向外交部領事事務局及各辦事處申辦
The design for the new Taiwan passport has been made public today! To aid in promoting the recognition of the Taiwan passport abroad and to ensure Taiwanese citizens are afforded the rights and benefits they are entitled to, the design will be adjusted as below:
The color and much of the structure of the cover will remain the same.
The word “Taiwan” has been enlarged and is located near the word “passport” and the way the official name of our country is represented has been adjusted slightly, circling our national emblem. We will contact the International Air Transport Association, other national governments, airport and port customs and immigration officials and airlines to inform them of the changes, as well as sending samples. If you hold the current version, it will remain valid until it expires, however you can apply for the new version after it is released in January of next year.
