Christmas dinner with the bloggers!! @bongqiuqiu and @jawsure and @yutakis and @sophiewillocq (not here yet)!

So I was chef and prepared everything but the turkey which was done by le husband. Actually cannot take credit for the yumminess of the food because all the raw food is sponsored by @hubersbutchery.

From them I got

✩ Ribeye steak
✩ foie gras
✩ pasta
✩ bacon (put into the sauce for pasta)
✩ Christmas ham
✩ another kind of ham which I rolled up with cheese
✩ lamp chops
✩ instant mashed potatoes
✩ creamed spinach

and the star, TURKEY that's pre marinated by Huber's and stuffed! Mike said it's the best turkey he ever had!!

Even though Huber's is called a Butchery, I was so amazed when I entered the store and found it sold everything from broccoli to exotic beers to Jamon ham! Even their instant mash and spinach are so delicious!! A lot of the products are Swiss imported. But meat is their specialty and I must say the ribeye I had is the best beef I've ever cooked!!

The sight and taste of anchovies may be repulsive to some, but that’s when served improperly. While the addition of white wine helps to intensify the sweet ocean flavours of the clams. With the other condiments, it creates that perfect boldly flavoured sauce to go with the spaghetti.

Cooking pasta is so straightforward there are countless of ways one can enjoy it. It’s one of those main ingredients that can turn a quick instant meal into a gourmet dish even without much effort. We used San Remo Spaghetti, which cooks much faster than regular Spaghetti. With it, you can whip up this exquisite dish in an instance without forgoing any flavour!

A simple fusion pasta for those that are fans of “Hae Bee Hiam” (Dried Shrimps Spicy Sambal), this recipe can be simply cooked under 30 minutes!

The method is simple - stir fry olive oil with sliced garlic, add in chilli flakes and Hae Bee Hiam, and coat it over the pasta. Our choice here was San Remo’s Instant Spaghetti, and the end result is very satisfying! Top up with more Hae Bee Hiam for that extra kick!
