🎡 Wheel Pose – #UrdhvaDhanurasana – Backbend is always my favorite. I am flexible but I am not naturally bendy like many yogis on Instagram, I never can hoist myself up into the pose without any warm-ups. 🙌🏽🤸🏽♀️ In fact, preparations are very important (and effective) for backbends. Warming and opening your body can help you get into the pose with less effort and most importantly, prevent injuries. ✖️🤕✖️

Seeing myself walking the feet a little closer to the hands day after day makes me feel fulfilled and achieved. 😆✌🏽 I know it looks like a walking dead running around when you see a yogi walking in their wheel pose #yogiknowsbest 🤣 You never know how good it feels after a deep backbend if you never try!🤸🏽♀️💕

My tip: Brace a pair of blocks against the wall and put either your hands or feet on them, have a taste of how it feels in a full backbend with support. 💛🙌🏽
