One of the local renowned Coffee Roasters in Penang, Forest Cloud started off by trading coffee-related products of different brands before roasting and producing its in-house coffee products, as well as importing quality Matcha, Hojicha and Dark Chocolate Powder. It was previously found at Island Glades but today, Forest Cloud is moving into a bigger space in central Georgetown (next to the old Odeon Cinema at Penang Road). The all new Forest Cloud does not only facilitate walk-ins or a space for cafe hoppers to enjoy a cup of Joe but it is also a cafe with Sensory Experience, an Experience Store, a Coffee Roaster, Coffee Academy, R&D Coffee Lab and Coffee Machine Clinic (as well as retail for coffee equipment). Not only that coffee lovers can have a sip on their in-house roasted Coffee but also hands on experience on how to brew their own coffee by joining their classes. 京都大阪之第二回～今次畫最難的是雪糕的盒子，字實左太小了.. 還要是反白的..雪糕已經開始上手：）還有...!終於練成了在家咖啡拉花（感動到要哭）用的不是專業機械，只有即溶咖啡和迷你果汁機呢！
Kyoto and Osaka trip entry 2~ this time the most difficult item is the ice cream box because the words are so small and white in colour. I'm getting better at painting ice cream now~ and most importantly, i have successfully made latte art at home without any professional coffee machine and steamer!! I only used instant coffee powder and a mini blender for milk foam... i have been trying for weeks... and finally!!! i'm over the moon.

If you like to experiment, and create a blend, like mocha for example, what I would normally do is to mix in a coco powder of choice in my cup first, and then proceed to froth it with the coffee from the machine.

Today I made the very popular Dalgona coffee with 2 other variations.
To successfully whip up the coffee you will need equal parts of instant coffee powder, sugar and hot water. You must use HOT water it will be so much easier to whip up the coffee. For matcha and chocolate, they don't have the stabilizer which is presented in coffee so whipping cream is needed in order to create the same effect. You can adjust the amount of sugar for matcha and chocolate dalgona by adjusting the sugar.

Oh, and of course, you can use electrical hand mixer to do the recipes by all means! Oh and don't drink the Dalgona coffee at night because it is very concentrated!

↓ Very simple and delicious Dalgona Coffee recipe ↓

►Dalgona Coffee:

Instant coffee powder 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon (6g)
Sugar 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon (16g)
Hot Water 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon (20ml)
Milk or any drink of your choice

►Dalgona Matcha:

Matcha powder 2 teaspoons (2g)
Whipping cream 60ml
Sugar 2 teaspoons (8g)
Milk or any drink of your choice

►Dalgona Chocolate:

Cocoa powder 2 teaspoons (3-4g)
Whipping cream 60ml
Sugar 2 teaspoons (8g)
Marshmallow and cocoa powder for decoration
Hot chocolate milk or any drink of your choice

►400次咖啡:

即沖咖啡粉 1湯匙+1 茶匙 (6克）
白砂糖 1湯匙+1 茶匙 (16克)
熱水 1湯匙+1 茶匙 (20毫升)
牛奶

►400次抺茶:
抺茶粉 2 茶匙 (2克）
淡忌廉 60毫升
糖 2茶匙 (8克)
牛奶

►400次朱古力
可可粉 2 茶匙 (3-4克)
淡忌廉 60毫升
糖 2茶匙 (8克)
棉花糖及可可粉 少許
熱朱古力奶
