I'm very proud that the World Economic Forum hosted young change-makers at its 50th Annual Meeting in Davos Klosters.
Youth leaders from across the globe stood tall discussing pressing issues, new insights and key perspectives. This just shows that young people can make positive changes in politics, business and society at large.
I strongly believe that young Malaysians can also take on the global stage. Our idealism, ideas and innovative spirit can create an impact in all areas.
This is why at our Ministry we are empowering young leaders through the Malaysian Future Leaders School.
As of now, 24,403 young people have enrolled since November last year and this year we aim to get more onboard.
I am confident that this school will be a stepping stone for youth leaders to help their communities - because when youths are given a chance we can accomplish great things.
Be it climate change or inclusive growth, its time for the youth to rise up. We are not just leaders of tomorrow, but leaders of today. #kuasaanakmuda
