🚨 VHC Bang Bang Shrimp Recipe 🚨

Ingredients:
Oil for frying
1 1/2 lbs large peeled shrimp

For batter:
1 cup frying mix
3/4 cup cold water
1 tsp salt

For bang bang sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp condensed milk
1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp coconut sriracha
Hot water *as needed

Steps:
1. Make bang bang sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients together. Add hot water (1 tsp at a time) if sauce is too thick. Set aside.
2. Combine all batter ingredients and mix well until smooth. Batter should not be lumpy.
3. Add shrimp to batter and coat evenly.
4. Heat up oil to 350 F or use the wooden chopstick bubbles rule.
5. Fry shrimp in batches. Cook until golden (about 2 minutes per side).
6. Move cooked shrimp to a cooling rack.
7. Place fried shrimp in a large bowl and toss them with the 1/2 of the bang bang sauce. I start off with just 2 tbsp of bang bang sauce at a time when tossing depending on how much sauce you want on your shrimp and gradually add more if needed. Drizzle some of the remaining sauce on the shrimps and use the rest as a side dip. Serve with tacos (or rice or whatever floats your boat) 😉
