The other day, someone from an institution I used to respect tried to tell me that professional mermaiding was floopsy, built on "fairies and unicorns", and didn't require the same athleticism as a sport.
To which I respond with this video. Let's talk about the sinus burn, the stinging in the eyes, the breathhold, the navigation of space while being unable to see.
Let's talk about the discipline, physical fitness, mental resilience, and sheer power of will required to make pain look effortless, and discomfort look magical.
Let's talk about what it takes to build a business and a brand out of that. To help make history in the most unexpected of ways.
