🏆全中運吉祥物驕仔，再獲義大利A'國際設計大獎銅獎
Pride Shrike, the mascot of 2020 National High School Athletic Games in Pingtung, Taiwan, has been granted the Bronze A' Design Award in Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design Category.

繼得到荷蘭Indigo設計獎之後，「驕仔」又獲得了義大利A'國際設計大獎的肯定，象徵我屏東我驕傲的「驕仔」，真的再創驕傲了（感動）

2020全中運吉祥物「驕仔」跳脫屏東總是用「阿猴」來發想的傳統思維，給大家耳目一新的新屏東印象。

這次以屏東縣鳥紅尾伯勞為靈感，取名為「驕仔」（台語發音），不僅是台語「鳥」的意思，也延續「我屏東我驕傲」的精神，代表榮耀之子，每位參賽者都是我們的驕傲。

驕仔完成全中運的任務之後，牠的新工作是到屏東紅尾成棒隊繼續擔任最萌吉祥物，大家之後可以繼續看到他在場上賣力地為選手加油！：）

Concept:
The mascot design of Pingtung City has long been monkeys because the old name of Pingtung is "Ahou," which is pronounced similar to "monkey" in Mandarin. In order to break away from stereotyped thinking, the team selected Brown Shrike, the bird of Pingtung County, as an inspiration to give everyone a refreshing impression about Pingtung. In particular, the team collaborated with Endemic Species Research Institute to draw the key features of Brown Shrike in detail.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Pride Shrike is the mascot of 2020 National High School Athletic Games in Pingtung, Taiwan. The mascot was named "Pride Shrike" as "bird" is pronounced similar to "pride" in Taiwanese, as well as echoing with the slogan "Pingtung Pride." The games cheer not only for the winners, but all athletes as they all make people proud.

Besides its adorkable appearance and flexible body, Pride Shrike has very distinctive personality. He is a national badminton player, in the senior year of athletic class in National Chao-Chou Senior High School. His favorite snack is Wandan red bean cake and favorite beverage is fresh lemon juice, which are both signature products in Pingtung. His objective is to show the characteristics of the host city. Pride Shrike is an important agent to promote its tourism and economy with local industries and signature products.

有人跟我一樣衝首日去看《天能》嗎？😆

今天跟老哥Wesley去看IMAX版天能
雖然很可惜我錯過了電影開場
但不影響整體的娛樂感
而且諾蘭這次的動作戲很強！
拍攝執行也很厲害⋯⋯

但因為多數人應該還沒看過
所以這次便先不聊電影
來聊聊電影片名的語言趣味

《天能》的英文片名「TENET」
正讀反讀都一樣
也就是所謂的「回文」Palindrome
（亦作迴文）

英文還有很多回文單字：
前夕 eve
層次 level
中午 noon
雷達 radar
女士 madam
賽車 racecar
謀殺 murdrum

其實不只單字，句子也能呈現回文：
“Was it a rat I saw?”
“Never odd or even.”
“Do geese see God?”
“A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!”

倒著唸還真的發音都一樣！
是不是超有趣的呢？

英語世界到處有這等上佳文字。怪不得鄧永鏘對外國記者嘲笑特首施政報告的英文「像一隻猴子在字母鍵盤上亂跳的組合結果」。在英語世界看慣英文的人如鄧永鏘者，怎會忍受得香港特區政府文告的那種毫無生命的 Second-rate SAR Chinglish ?

【陶傑：喝澳洲啤酒，品嚐英文】

澳洲 Frementle 的這家啤酒店，用不同的水果，包括香蕉，與大小麥交相滲釀，所以連啤酒也造出八種。看啤酒的英文說明，可以學英文冩作。

酒至第四巡，這一杯，叫「淺麥」Bright Ale。Ale 的發酵度比一般啤酒高，味道苦一點，在英國叫做Bitter。

"The bright filtered ale takes inspiration from both the old and news worlds of brewing. " 此酒釀製的靈感來自新舊大陸。指歐洲和澳洲。

第二句是複合體："Liberty, Crystal, Summer and Pacifica hops give this ale some citrusy, green, floral notes and a nice bitter finish."

這句英文，發揮了英文句法結構的優點：在文法上，一系列名詞，可以組成一個總成的主語（Subject )，用一個動詞"Give" ( 因為前面一串主語合成為眾數，所以 give 不可加s ) ，拖着下半部同樣是另一組的詞彙，好似一列火車，而當中的give字，就是其中關鍵的一卡，又能將前後扣得很緊。或者像李小龍的雙截棍，give this ale 這一小組，是兩截木頭中間的鐵鍊。

如果譯成中文，可以是如下：

「太平洋水晶般的啤酒花，散發翠綠的花樣柑橘芳氣，而盡杯時又不失一絲甜苦。」

中譯的結構，就沒有了英文的那種格局，但中文的詞彙，要選得精緻，以求忠於原文的層次。

最後一句：Using four gentle malts including Pale, Carapils, Munich and Viena, ( 我也不知道這四種麥有何不同，但不要緊，現在是欣賞語文，不是啤酒）as well as whole hop flowers, this beer is light-bodied but full of hoppy greatness.

Whole 和 hop 兩字並列，是玩弄同一 h 發音的「啞韻」（Alliteration ），而hoppy 與happy也差一點點。上等的英文，必有機鋒（Fun ) 和情趣（Wit )。這段說明的作者，是語文高手。
