Pregnancy Diaries:

第一/二個月：正常飲食, 正常運動， 正常生活，正常睡眠（什麼是正常睡眠。問得好。 有個3歲小孩後，能睡就是正常吧。哈哈）
Month 1-2: Normal diet, normal exercise, normal sleep (for a regular mom with a 3 year old toddler)

第3個月： 可以讓我睡覺嗎？ 我就躺一下就好。 喔喔喔！蛋糕！可以邊吃邊睡嗎？好吧。 睡～～～～～～～
Month 3: Can I just sleep please...OOOOOOH Cheesecake! No, sleeeeeeeep….

第4-5個月： 辣椒！！！給我給我給我給我！ 辣椒！重口味的東西！印度咖喱，韓國泡菜，麻辣火鍋，剝皮辣椒雞湯， 辣～～～～～～～～～
Month 4-5: OMGOMGOMGOMG. GIVE ME CHILI! Spices! Salt! Strong flavors! Indian curry! Korean kimchi, spicy hot pot, spicy anything, SPICY EVERYTHING!!

第6個月： 哇。我好像吃太多了。
Month 6: Oops. I think I ate too much.

第7個月： 我想吃。。。。。喔喔喔。 等一下。 我的肚子跑去哪裡啊？ 這麼怎麼那麼小？ 喔。 找到了。 現在是寶寶的出氣筒。 喔！不好意思喔。 我先尿個尿。。。。
Month 7: I want to eat… oh. Where did my belly go? Did it shrink? Ah yes, it’s now the baby punching bag. Oh! Gotta go pee….

孕期已經慢慢接近尾聲，醫生建議我吃綜合維他命（為了我跟寶寶），葉酸(有助於體內好的物質合成), 歐美加脂肪酸 Omega-3 (為了發育思緒健康）， 鈣/鎂 （如果你跟我一樣，會突然抽動不舒服。 為什麼一定要是半夜睡覺的時候呢？為什麼？ ）其他媽媽們可能會需要補充的有：鐵，維他命 B12, 維他命D, 等。
My doctor has recommended prenatal vitamins (just good in general), folic acid (for development of baby), omega 3s (for baby mental health), and calcium/magnesium (if you are starting to get uncomfortablelike me… Excuse me… WHY oh WHY do you always come in the middle of the night?!). Other supplements may also include iron, vitamin B12, vitamin D…

Pregnancy is quite an amazing thing and it does quite a crazy thing to your body. I’ve been trying to “listen” to what my body has been telling me since day one and in general, try and stay healthy with lots of fresh vegetables, fruits and healthy meats/seafood. Of course, I will give into some cravings (like spice, occasionally sweet desserts, and yes, even unhealthier things like fried foods) because I feel like it’s my body telling me it needs something I may not be aware of. Or because, JUST GIVE IT TO ME ALREADY… (yes,... hormones).

Being pregnant is an interesting time. Your body goes through so many physical changes, your emotions go through a roller coaster ride, and it can be exhilarating and also exhausting. (And also, you pee yourself when you sneeze. or cough. or laugh too hard.)

There are times when you look down or into a mirror and HATE what you see. You feel fat, ugly, heavy, wide, saggy, swollen, uncomfortable, and just hate your body. And then, there are times when look at yourself and you see a miracle. A physical transformation that is so incredible and was incomprehensible to you before you actually got pregnant. It’s difficult to explain to anybody else who has never experienced it before. And every day, every moment is different.
有時候，看到鏡子裡的自己或是往下看肚子的時候，很討厭看到的身體變化：覺得自己很醜、很肥、很腫、 很鬆、很膨脹、很不舒服， 基本上，就是很討厭。不過，有時候看著自己或是感覺到寶寶胎動的時候，你又好像在見證自己的奇蹟，一個身體物理上的轉型，一個懷孕之前怎樣都無法理解的變化。 而且也很難跟其他沒有體驗過的人形容的感覺與心情。 然後，每一天、每一時刻都不一樣。

Those are the beautiful moments and feelings I wanted to capture with this series of nude maternity photos. Just the beauty and miracle that is the body when it is carrying a baby inside.
這個就是我希望可以要用照片記錄下來的感覺。這種生活奇蹟美麗的感覺。而我覺得裸照最適合呈現這種心情。

You lose all modesty at times (I would fart loudly in public and not even blink an eye. Or sit on a chair with my legs wide open and not care who could see my underwear.) but with that, you also gain courage. The little baby inside makes you feel so sexy and more womanly than you’ve ever felt before.
懷孕之後，有的時候真的會偶爾失去你的矜持：我可以大聲的在大家面前放一個很臭的屁然後一點都不會不好意思，或是在公共場合兩腿開開不會care誰看到我的內褲，但是，我覺得孕婦們也同時獲得了一種莫名的勇氣，這可能是肚子裡的小孩讓你覺得你很辣或是更有母性的感覺。

Qi Qi is an amazing mom who was willing to challenge herself to do something she never thought she’d do before and I’m so proud of her for doing this with me! 我真的希望這個系列的照片是慶祝孕婦們的身體變化還有生命奇蹟。這集 #跟著Janet一起瘋好孕 的李淇淇是一位非常棒的媽咪，她願意跟著我挑戰她從來沒有想過可以做的事：拍孕婦全裸寫真！謝謝 CNFlower把台灣山林搬到攝影棚，還有讓我們盡情展現溫柔力量的Paul Chang攝影師，讓我們覺得我們從內到外都是美女！

前外相聶偉敬就香港暴血局勢，緊急致函香港特首林鄭月娥。

於是，又到了學英文時間。

先留意上款：聶偉敬稱林鄭為 Dear Mrs Lam，而不是 Dear Carrie。

一般而言，即使是公文信來往，由於此信不涉公司團體，特別是林鄭是英國殖民主餵養大的「精英」，而此信也嘗試動之以情（假設收信人懂得這個字的話），因此上款應以筆書寫為 Dear Carrie，與下款的簽名一致。

但沒有。這是前宗主人開門見山對「港英餘孽」頗為不悅的含蓄暗示。

果然，開篇第一句：We are writing as a matter of utmost urgency， Urgency 還不夠，還要加Utmost ， 英式英文不重浮誇，益見嚴峻。

第二段更重複：We are gravely concerned。不得了。而且強調：Everything must be done to avoid such a tragedy，亦「你必須採取一切手段避免此等悲劇」，語氣與習近平或韓正下命令相同。如果你還記得鴉片戰爭，看到這一句，應該開始覺得不太舒服。

第三段核心所在：我們譴責少數（即大陸語言的「一小撮」）學生的暴力，「但」（but ) 我們相信，警方的行動，幾個星期以來令局勢火上加油升級。因果主次，一目了 然。

最後一段，豈止下令，簡直鞭撻。左一句 you have a duty，右一句 you have the authority。但如何解決？英國前主人為尊重「港人治港，高度自治」、尊重中國人民感情，並無詳細（亦即大陸說的「具體」）指示，只以一句 to seek a meaningful way forward （找尋一個能令局勢向前進的有意思的辦法）：你自己搞掂。

最後一段：全世界都在看着你，你自己好自為之。嘩，簡直是恐嚇了。

如果你是林鄭，這封英文信應該怎樣回覆？

勿忘記，任何回信，先要交北京批准，因此回信即使用英文寫，也要中央官員看得懂而拍板，因此我試代擬如下：

You hateful British Imperialist Malcolm Rifkind:

You listen. Stop interfering in we Chinese Hong Kong SAR internal affairs, otherwise we stop all the business contracts.

As Chief Executive, I don’t need you to point fingers and draw feet ( 指手劃腳）at me and talk three say four (說三道四）to our heroic police force.

You telling me? Yes actually I am doing. I saying to police to use real bullets. Yes, actually real real bullet indeed. You scare? This mean actually I doing everything, OK?

Now if you send me more rubbish letter like this, I shall appeal to President to call back all Chinese student in Britain, so that all your universities and polytechnics will suffer more bad than being attacked by lethal poisoning tear gas and real bullet, and have to close down immediately because no more money, understand ?

【BABI/你是豬】將在11月20日，於全台灣戲院正式上映! 並在11月6及7號在《金馬影展》世界首映。

【BABI/你是豬】由真人真事改編, 這起大型的校園種族暴動事件，發生在2000年馬來西亞南方小鎮的一所學校裡。

當時的馬來西亞處在一黨獨大，爛權腐敗，媒體被嚴格控管及消息封鎖的階段。因此這起事件在當時已被相關單位“和諧”，在馬來西亞幾乎沒有人知道。

我想把這部電影拍出來，目的除了要揭露事實的真相，也要藉此提醒馬來西亞人種族之間必須更團結，互助，交流，才不會一直被政治人物利用，以操弄種族情緒而達到政治目的。不然就會發生更多類似的悲劇。。。

“BABI”在馬來語裡面是“豬”的意思。在一般人眼裡，“豬”就只是一個動物的名稱。但在穆斯林的眼裡，豬是不潔的動物，只要在任何媒體上或言論上提到“豬”這個字眼，等同犯了大忌，會引起很大的爭議。而這部電影就是建立在“豬”這個字眼所引發的一系列連鎖效應，最後造成的悲劇。

【BABI/你是豬】在馬來西亞是一部禁片，沒辦法找到投資，因此只用了非常低的成本來拍攝，過程非常艱難和痛苦。但慶幸的是，最後我們不但在重重壓力下完成了拍攝，甚至還受到了各國影展的青睞，包括【德國柏林電影節】，【泰國國際電影節】以及【金馬影展】，有這樣的成績讓我們都感到非常欣慰。

感謝【金馬影展】的評審對【BABI/你是豬】的肯定，希望未來能讓更多人知道，並看得到這一部電影。

我們堅決反對種族政策，反對政府控制媒體及各種官官相護的行為。在此祝願我的國家馬來西亞未來能夠更好，各族團結共榮，一起譴責種族主義和一切歧視的行為。

最後，我要感謝台灣這片土地對不同聲音及藝術作品的包容與接納，感謝台灣，感謝【金馬影展】【金馬獎】以及發行商【華映娛樂】對我的肯定!

‘Babi’ will be available in all Taiwan cinemas on November 20 onwards! The film is also scheduled to debut internationally at the ‘Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival’ on the 6 and 7 of November 2020.

‘BABI’ is a film which is based on an actual real-life event, the movie sheds light on a massive school racial riot, the incident took place in year 2000 in a small town somewhere Southern in Malaysia.

During that time Malaysia was still under the authoritarian rule of one-dominant party, abuse of power and corruption were frequent, media and news were being stringently controlled or filtered. Thus, the incident was being ‘compromised’ by relevant authority, the case was unknown to most of the Malaysians.

I want to disclose the story though art and filming but most importantly sending a message to all Malaysians that we must be more unified disregard of our ethnicity and race. In short, we shall always lend a helping hand to each other and communicate with our hearts and souls therefore we won’t be exploited by politicians who incite racial sentiment to reach their end goal. Otherwise, we will only be trapped in this tragic never-ending cycle…

‘BABI’ in Malay means ‘PIG’. In someone’s eyes, ‘BABI’ is purely just a name for an animal but in Muslim’s eyes, pig resembles unholiness, a word which would radiate sin even mutter from one’s mouth, a taboo word which would spark controversy on any given media or comment section. Hence, this movie is built upon how the word ‘BABI’ triggered a chain reaction which ultimately resulted a series of misfortunes.

‘BABI’ is not passed for screening in Malaysia, a banned film. Due to this reason, the budget for this movie was very limited, I have had only a little of resources to finish this project, the process was arduous and agonizing. Luckily, we have not only completed the film under such immense pressure but being invited to Berlin International Film Festival, International Thai Film Festival and Golden Horse Film Festival as well, I’m relief that our labour and passion bore fruit right in the very end.

I want to thank the judging panel for all the recognition. I hope that in the future more people would know about the film and able to watch it.

We stand firm against any race policy and structural racism, we strongly oppose nepotism and government controlled media. I wish my home country Malaysia, to be ever united against racial policy and has a brighter future ahead.

I would like to thank Taiwan for welcoming all different kind of voices and art, thank you Taiwan. Lastly, shout-out to the ‘Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival’, ‘Golden Horse Awards’ and the film’s distributor ‘CPT Entertainment’ for their acknowledgment.
