Our favourite part is we no longer need to go into the streets to enjoy Melaka’s popular mango shakes and coconut shakes, instead we get to enjoy it in this comfy and homey little Authentic #Nyonya house 🏠 while fully immersing ourselves in the culture and the food 🍽

Melaka Halal Food Guide is my latest project in collaboration with Mamee Jonker House. There are more than 40 eateries featured in the video, of which 95% of them are halal and prepared by Muslims, while the rest are pork free.

I have personally visited every single eatery to verify that they are worth recommending.

Who's in #Melaka??

Finally arrived in Melaka after 3 hours (1 full hour of jam on highway, & another 1 hour GETTING into the city itself).
Good thing is I can now rest in my room; though small, it is cosy.
Tis is the Estadia Deluxe, 22 sq meters.
** RM220 nett, incl 2 brekkie (weekdays). Weekends RM240 nett.
Other than this space u see here is the bathroom.
Estadia Hotel is by the Hatten Group (Hatten Hotel, Hatten Square) & it is a Peranakan-style luxury boutique hotel.
Based from what I observed so far, it is modern chic with elements of Baba Nyonya culture in its floorings, paintings, decorative items & furniture.
Counting down the hours to the Nyonya Memoirs show later & a Nyonya dinner! Hope the food doesn't disappoint! ;)
