【 Emily in Paris ─ 真係乜都有之百貨中百客 】

好像自從《二月廿九》之後，已有一段頗長時間沒出現過這種追劇潮 ── 在facebook簡單打了一句Status，竟然有十幾位朋友輪流留言。到底咩劇咁巴閉？近日放大假，某夜做完運動想找點甚麼來看，又不想開YouTube，於是打開Netflix，見到首頁推介《艾蜜莉在巴黎》（Emily in Paris），乍看這個六字劇名有點眼熟，應該是早前看過一些相關報道，遂隨便Google一下，原來那是Darren Star的新作，熟知美劇的人理應會聽過這大名，他是著名創作人，《Beverly Hills, 90210》和《色慾都市》（Sex and the City）等經典劇集都出自其手筆，2020年，他與團隊帶來全新劇集《Emily in Paris》，女主角是由Lily Collins飾演的Emily Cooper，一個突然間要由芝加哥飛到巴黎工作，完全不懂法語的女生。

看了頭幾集，已大概明白，為何《Emily in Paris》10月2日上架後（https://bit.ly/3nEIO3b），旋即成為多個地區的點播排行榜十大，兼且奪得香港地區的點播冠軍寶座，因為此劇有齊當今觀眾需要的元素：百貨中百客，朋友K以這句總結其吸引之處：「要睇景，有，要睇仔，有，要睇衫，有，要睇扑嘢場面？都一樣有！」

世紀疫症下，全世界「冇得飛」，以往習慣出國的消費者，統統都要留在自己的城市，入住酒店，享受Staycation，異國風光怎麼樣，腦海中的記憶早已變得模糊，今次《Emily in Paris》拉大隊到法國巴黎取景，順理成章為劇迷獻上「浪漫花都靚景放題」，與Mindy賣醉留影的艾菲爾鐵塔（La Tour Eiffel）、晨早跑步的塞納河、瑞典床褥品牌Hästens舉辦推廣活動的Place Dalida、拍攝香水廣告的Pont Alexandre III bridge、與芝加哥男友講分手的Le Panthéon、看《天鵝湖》的歌劇院The Palais Garnier、跟Camille和Gabriel一起看梵谷展覽的Atelier des Lumières、與Thomas初遇的Café de Flore等等等等，任睇，免費，就當參加網上歐洲精華遊，一解憂愁。

靚仔多，又係賣點。飾演鄰居Gabriel的Lucas Bravo，最Bravo，那雙眼，那口流利英語，還有身材，冇得輸！飾演香水品牌老闆的Antoine的William Abadie、飾演白鴿眼符號學教授Thomas的Julien Florencig，飾演Pierre Cadault商務主管Mathieu的Charles Martins，飾演Camille弟弟Victor的Victor Meutelet，甚至乎在派對陽台上認識的油漆工人Fabien（Michel Biel飾），無一不是靚仔／靚佬。

有女性朋友直言，因為有靚仔，所以繼續睇，A小姐說：「如果只係睇Lily Collins，真係唔會睇落去，因為啲衫實在太核突！」B小姐話：「Lily Collins個妝化得太老喇！」給大家提供參考，今次為Lily Collins主理衣著和造型的人是當代時尚教母 Patricia Field，不過部份用色和款式太難駕馭，令我有點覺得是為着而着，而且太過俗氣，反觀「Mean爆」上司Sylvie（Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu飾）以及黑人男同事Julien（Samuel Arnold飾）的穿搭就相當好睇，在好睇和靚衫之間取得平衡。

每集播放時間都是30分鐘以內，保證兩至三日睇完第一季，劇情推進快，不拖拉，笑位計算準確，對白用字樂而不淫，而且內容好直接、有用，直接在透過Emily的遭遇，以及好姊妹Mindy（Ashley Park飾）的解釋，觀眾會更加了解法國人的性格是怎樣，譬如第一集，角色是中國人的Mindy這樣形容法國人，「Chinese people are mean behind your back, French people? Mean to your face. 」又比如，在當地不說法文是死罪，每次先講Bonjour，出事機會率大減。

Mindy用另一句說話來形容巴黎人對於性愛的重視程度和為何總是愛出軌，她跟Emily說：「You haven’t done Paris right until you’ve had at least one wildly inappropriate affair. 」當然還有在劇情不斷出現的職場教學、經營社交媒體策略，睇完總會有嘢落袋。雖然有法國人狠批此劇，直言是嚴重詆毀法國人，但我向身在法蘭西的朋友展示這些對白截圖，他說很大程度是真確的，「French have ego issues, haha. 」但崩口人忌崩口碗，又有誰會喜歡給別人直接批評呢？看來因為這套劇的討論將會持續下去，而看到第十集，我敢肯定，一定會有第二季，雖然Lily Collins的演技實在不濟，完全無法透過演繹角色令我留下深刻印象，不客氣講句：真係得個樣，還要背負「現代版柯德莉夏萍」的稱號，有沒有想過已長埋黃土下的「近代Gamine界Icon」（參考前輩鄧小宇的文章：https://bit.ly/34PlRSj）柯德莉本尊會有何感受？

疫情目前看來還沒有降溫趨勢，希望在台灣的大家一切都平安、保持樂觀的心情。我過去幾週都在和編輯一起校稿，現在已經進入最後階段。目前預計 #新書在3月11日上市、#3月22日下午兩點到四點在誠品松菸店會有一場新書分享會。由於疫情不明，所以目前預定只有一場實體發表會，再看狀況可能使用直播的方式和大家分享新書。等到網路書店確定可以預購之後也會再通知大家。

今天先和大家分享我上週在巴黎凱悅凡登花園酒店（Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme，又譯為「巴黎柏悅酒店」）的下午茶，由於春天即將到來， Jimmy Mornet 主廚（註）也推出新的下午茶菜單。除了濃郁甜蜜的舒芙蕾之外，其他的甜點都採用清新的水果為主題，遠離冬日的厚重。如果你還記得，我之前曾經介紹過幾次 Jimmy 主廚的作品，他是首位提供「無麩質」（sans-gluten）聖誕節蛋糕的主廚、凱悅凡登花園酒店也是第一個在下午茶套餐中提供盤式甜點（desserts à l'assiette）的宮殿級酒店（palace）。

這次的春季下午茶甜點完整菜單包含——

一道鹹點：菊芋（又稱洋姜）泥、菊苣、烤雞、鵪鶉蛋、黑松露與熟成康堤乳酪（Purée de topinambour, endives, volaille à la plancha, œufs de caille, truffle noir & vieux Comté）

五道甜點：
巧克力舒芙蕾（Soufflé Chocolat）
青檸果凍、奇異果與小黃瓜、蒔蘿冰淇淋與蛋白霜（Gérée de citron vert, kiwi & concombre, glace et meringue à l’aneth）
肉桂千層布里歐許（Brioche feuilletée à la cannelle）
葡萄柚與香草巴巴（Baba pamplemousse & bois de vanille）
糖果（confiserie）：覆盆子與紫羅蘭牛軋糖（Nougat framboise et éclats de violette）, 甘草糖（réglisse）

五道甜點中的第一道「巧克力舒芙蕾」與第二道「青檸果凍、奇異果與小黃瓜、蒔蘿冰淇淋與蛋白霜」屬於盤式甜點範疇，而肉桂千層布里歐許則是維也納麵包（viennoiserie）、葡萄柚與香草巴巴則是經典的法式糕點（pâtisserie），再加上收尾的糖果，是非常完整、簡直可以當作教材的法式甜點體驗。其中肉桂千層布里歐許鬆軟甜蜜，充滿奶油馥郁的香氣，大概是我在巴黎最喜歡的千層布里歐許作品了。

I got invited the other day to taste the Spring tea time menu of chef Jimmy Mornet at Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. It was really wonderful experience as my friend and I got a warm welcome by the hotel staff and everything that we tasted was impeccable. The new tea time menu includes one savoury dish and five sweet ones:

Savoury - Jerusalem artichokes purée, chicory, grilled chicken, quail's eggs, black truffle & aged Comté (urée de topinambour, endives, volaille à la plancha, œufs de caille, truffle noir & vieux Comté)

Sweet -
Chocolate soufflé (Soufflé chocolat)
Lime jelly, kiwi & cucumber, ice-cream & meringue with dill (Gérée de citron vert, kiwi & concombre, glace et meringue à l’aneth)
Puff brioche with cinnamon (Brioche feuilletée à la cannelle)
Grapefruit & vanilla wood baba (Baba pamplemousse & bois de vanille)
Confectioneries: Raspberry & violet nougat, liquorice (Confiseries: Nougat framboise et éclats de violette & réglisse)

Every pastry and dessert was light enough to reflect the coming of Spring, yet amazingly delicious and well-balanced. Guests are invited to enjoy the chef’s wonderful creations while having a clear overview on the art of French pastries: viennoiserie, pâtisserie, plated desserts, and confectioneries. Plated desserts are usually served in a full-course menu, which is during lunch or dinner time, but Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme is the only palace hotel in Paris that includes them in the tea time menu, which is a real challenge for the pastry kitchen and its pâtissiers. Hey Everyone!!!! I almost forgot to upload this video!!! We stayed at Hi - Park Apartment Residences this year at Serris - Val d'Europe. It was an all right, clean modern hotel. Nothing too fancy tho. This particular hotel, does not offer a free breakfast. They charge 9 Euro per person for a continental breakfast. However, there is a grocery store in the Val d'Europe Mall nearby that has a wonderful selection for you to buy breakfast items. It is a close walk to the Euro Disney Parks. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to and from the Euro Disney Parks. The hotel is also nearby the Metro station which connects to the RER (A) Line. You get off the shuttle bus the same stop that you would when you get off for Disney. Thanks for watching & supporting my Channel.

It is set to be released in November and December 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is the seventh major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and the successor to 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with ties to 2014's Assassin's Creed Rogue. Set within Paris during the French Revolution, the single-player story follows Arno Dorian in his efforts to expose the true powers behind the Revolution.
The game retains the series' third-person open world exploration as well as introducing an improved melee combat, parkour and stealth system. Assassin's Creed Unity introduces cooperative multiplayer to the Assassin's Creed series, letting up to four players engage in narrative-driven missions and explore the open-world map.

Hey Everyone!!!! So for Remembrance Day this year, we are in Paris. In France, most things are closed on all Holidays. We slept in, & are spending a short day at the Park. We had a one & only meal at the Pizza Planet which is a buffet. Thanks for watching & supporting my Channel.
