《#FilMotion》POP-UP EXHIBITION
每次創作皆源自於每次電影完場後的「空白感」。空白，也許是指失落。電影落幕，曲終人散。但情緒卻一直被電影中的角色拉扯，來來回回。有時候會不禁想，電影中人的後續。為了填補腦中這對電影無限輪迴的拉扯和排解過多的情緒，我選擇了畫畫。 亦因此，這系列電影作品命名為 "FilMotion"。
有時因為喜歡一部電影而畫，又有時間因一句對白而畫。電影是最能讓我最快有感覺而去畫的系列。有時候我們透過文字或說話去分享一部電影時，往往都在整理思考的過程中流失了當下的感動。因此我習慣畫畫，那是我最直白的告解。當說話變得難緣啟齒，我可以借一部又一部電影，一直畫一直畫，在過程中治療着當下的自己。也希望透過畫作照亮一些同樣遺忘了自己或被遺忘了的人。
我喜歡留白，那是最原始的狀態，挾着水彩的隨性，它自帶一種美。那是自行定義的。每個人都有自己的方法去填補生活中的缺憾，畫畫是我的方法。
Inspired by the 'emptiness' as a result of withdrawing from the fantasy of movies, his illustrations of the movie characters give continuity to the movies and fill the 'emptiness'. This series of artwork are titled 'FilMotion'
Perhaps starting from a quote, or a specific character, movies have always been his muse. They motivate him to draw, to paint, to create. His works always captures his emotions of the moment. They return as a confession. It is a self-healing process in this modern speechless world.
Watercolour as a medium, presents the tenderness of life. He treats painting watercolour as a progress of gathering all the fragments in life, and arranging them as a whole again.

I've traveled to Sapa numerous times, but I've never had the chance to really stay longer than two days or so. On this recent trip, I had four days to do and eat things I've never done or eaten before. The Love Waterfall was a great way to start a morning, not too far from Sapa. (It definitely helps if you rent a car and hire a driver) That waterfall was worth it. The new market, though, not as wonderful as the old market, still has some good noodle offers to try. The fruit vendors outside will surely satisfy your fruit cravings and on the weekend you can visit the Old Church. For dinner, I recommend trying the sturgeon fish - in various courses. I believed that dinner came out to be around 30 dollars or so. Don't quote me on that.
