Maundy (Holy) Thursday | Last night I streamed the Holy Thursday mass. When Archbishop Simon pointed out that it was an empty cathedral in front of him, with teary eyes and a trembling voice, barely holding himself together, I felt it. Church would be packed at this time of the year. It’d be the biggest celebration in the liturgy of the church. It would be the most happening season. But this year it will be different, it will not be “normal” - we are to journey through Easter Triduum from and at home.
Not gonna lie, this would probably be the thing that I miss most in 2020. It will be a unique Easter, but I believe it’s for a greater purpose. It will definitely be something to tell my kids in the future.
