I joined other American Institute in Taiwan officers performing with Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, a jazz fusion group from Asheville, North Carolina at the lovely Lin An Tai House! In the United States, Jazz is one of our greatest cultural exports and we hope you will join us as Jonathan Scales Fourchestra is bringing American jazz fusion music to the Tamshui MRT Plaza on 2/10@7 pm. 2017美國音樂出訪計畫台灣站不只有音樂會，這次來訪的團體還為學生舉行了工作坊，並和台灣本地的表演團體如朱宗慶打擊樂團 / Ju Percussion Group、A Root 同根生樂團、人聲時空旅行爵士樂團、以及杵音文化藝術團、台東鐵花村音樂工作坊進行了許多文化交流。也與花蓮港口國小、豐濱國小以及靜浦國小的學生們同樂。之後也與東華大學音樂系爵士工作坊、宜蘭四季國小與蘇澳國中打擊樂團、花蓮特殊教育學校互動。#AmericanMusicAbroad #JonathanScalesFourchestra #ExchangeOurWorld

The 2017 American Music Abroad Taiwan Tour was not just concerts. The group also conducted workshops with students, had cultural exchange programs with local performing groups like Ju Percussion, A Root Yilan, Voice Traveler, and Chu Yin.
