10 years ago I visited Sharon Au in Japan when I went there to interview Ziyi Zhang, Ken Watanabe, Michelle Yeoh and Rob Marshall for their movie Memoirs Of A Geisha. I stayed at this very lovely very hospitable Japanese couple's place (where Sharon was putting up during the course of her undergraduate studies at Waseda University). 10 years later, they finally visit Singapore (and during our significant #SG50 weekend no less), to watch Sharon in #TheLKYMusical. I guess you can call this a Singapore-Japan bi-lateral cultural exchange that spanned 10 years! 😆 I also remember Sharon standing at the entrance of The Park Hyatt where she had come to see me off. I was on the bus and we were both waving goodbye to each other frantically. And as the bus pulled away, we started sobbing uncontrollably. I don't know the exact reason for that but I guess it's a mixture of knowing we won't see each other again for a long time, she's in a foreign place all by herself and I was just generally in a bad place (not literally) at that time. I guess we both were going through our own different states of loneliness. My birthday wish for you Sharon is that you will never have to experience any kind of loneliness again. HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY CHOO!!! #SA40
วันแรกของพวกเราในโตเกียวค่า ทริปนี้เราวางแผนมาเที่ยวแบบสบายๆ วางแผนไว้ ไปเที่ยววันละที่พอ ชิลๆ กรุบกริบ โรงแรมที่พักคือ Hyatt Place อุ้มเห็นว่ารร.นี้เพิ่งเปิดได้ไม่นาน ประมาณ 6 เดือนเท่านั้นเองค่ะ ถือว่าใหม่กิ๊ก โลเคชั่นก็ดีงามใกล้ทะเลและโตเกียวดิสนีย์แลนด์ (อันนี้สำคัญสำหรับทริปนี้มาก😝) เห็นในเวปของรร.ห้องค่อนข้างใหญ่ ดูสวย สะอาดตา และเมื่อเรามาถึงก็ใหญ่จริงๆค่ะ อุ้มได้เลือกพักที่ห้องหัวมุมชั้น 9 วิวทะเลสวยงาม ยังไม่พอแถมยังมีระเบียงขนาดใหญ่มากกกก ใหญ่แบบอุนยายวิ่งเล่นปล่อยพลังได้เยอะเลยล่ะค่ะ รอบๆรร.บรรยากาศก็ดี้ดีย์ เป็นวิวสนามหญ้ามีสนามเด็กเล่นด้วย (แอบพาอุนยายไปเล่นมาแล้วด้วย) ทะเลก็สวยงามสุดๆ นอกจากนี้ทางรร.ยังมีบริการรถไปส่งที่ดิสนีย์แลนด์และสถานีรถไฟใกล้ๆ ฟรีอีกด้วยนะคะ ถูกใจอุนแม่สุดๆค้า เย็นนี้เราก็ขอทานเข้าเย็นกันที่รร.เลยเพราะเหนื่อยจากการเดินทาง ไม่อยากออกไปไหนต่อแล้ว เดี๋ยวมารีวิวอาหารให้ชมกันนะคะ 😁🙌🏻💗
