🔴MY REVIEW: I really enjoy this product and brand. I had a noticeable difference in redness after just one use. Sometimes I will put a few drops of an anti-aging essential oil blend with either avocado or rosehip oil and it works great. It rinsed off easily and didn’t cause any irritation to my extremely dry sensitive skin. My skin feels smoother, brighter and it seems like my pores are clearer. Highly recommend.

🔴MY REVIEW: I have been using this product for more than 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. I use 1 pump of this product and spread it all over my face to include across my eye lids and lashes. Then I rinse with warm water and towel dry. It removes every bit of makeup without exception and I don’t even need a toner or follow up. Well, I have extremely dry sensitive skin, even some luxury brands like “Chxxxl” makes my face red sometimes. So I’m really careful when picking makeup removers as some of them can make my eyes burn. Well, I don’t want to wash multiple times to remove the makeup. This gets most of the makeup in the first cleanse. This one is amazing. Overall, it really breaks up my makeup and sunscreen without disrupting my skin’s sensitivity. Definitely recommend.

It does not leave my fingers feeling greasy like other balms and it smells amazing. It absorbs quickly so I don’t have a long wait to apply my moisturizer or makeup. [

[Anatomy]
Another post about attacking the head. Many reports had stated that, after being attacked on the head, people had suffered from massive blood loss. Why is it so? Because under the scalp there is a rich arterial supply.
There are five layers in the human scalp (refer to figure 1), from exterior to interior they are the skin, connective tissue, aponeurosis, loose connective tissue and pericranium (interestingly the initials of these five words form the word SCALP). The skin is a thin layer protected by hair, and is richly supplied by small blood vessels and lymphatic drainage. The connective tissue underneath has abundant nerve supply. The tough aponeurosis acts as the attachment of the occipitofrontalis muscle. The loose connective tissue layer is sponge-like, and is clinically important as it acts as a potential anatomical space to spread blood and microbes into other areas. The innermost pericranium is the connective tissue layer that acts as the external periosteum of the cranium.
Various arteries supply the scalp, and they lie between the connective tissue and aponeurotic layers (refer to figure 2 for details), forming anastomoses. When trauma tears the scalp, these arteries may lacerate - with quite some blood pressure, there will be a considerable blood extravasation. Also worth noting is the firm attachment of the walls of these arteries to the dense connective tissue in which they are embedded, which leads to impaired vasoconstriction and poor effect when carrying out first-aid haemostasis.
If the traumatic force is large enough to break the aponeurosis, the wound cannot heal easily as the occipitofrontalis muscle will tear the wound, making it bigger and bigger. In a more serious condition where blood or pathogens make their way into the loose connective tissue layer, they may spread all through the scalp (bounded anteriorly by the eyes and posteriorly by the neck) or even get into intracranial structures like the meninges, causing secondary and possibly severe complications.
Allow me to ask: before you hit with your stick, do you know there is such a variety of possible consequences and effects? And are you able to evaluate the severity of these consequences after you hit someone (combined with the possibility of having an epidural haematoma, as mentioned in a previous post)?

Thanks Vogue Hong Kong for featuring me as one of the HK street photographers 🙏🏼

Below is the previously unreleased complete interview in which I shared about my inspirations, creative flow and philosophy, as well as some techniques. Feel free to take a look & CLS (comment, like & share) 😀
——
(V: Vogue J: Jeremy)
V:
What/who inspired your photography style?
J:
When I started photography, Hong Kong’s legendary photographer Ho Fan’s work has inspired me a lot, mostly about the use of light and composition as well as the way to authentically capture the secular life of Hong Kong people. Around 6-7 years ago, I met some friends from Instagram whose double exposure film works are fascinating. They have inspired me to explore deeper in this special way of photo story-telling, which I tried to incorporate daily ordinary elements to make new interpretations of what I feel and perceive about the city. After years of experimentation, I am still enjoying the possibility double exposure brings to my creative journey.
——
V:
How would you describe the Hong Kong that you present in your photos?
J:
Hong Kong is a city of varying landscapes (hills, harbours, hyper-dense urban hubs etc). My photos always try to illustrate snippets of things happening around the city, mixing the common experience with a bit of poetic imagination if possible (including openness or even ambiguity for the readers to interpret). At the same time, I always put in mind not to create something too cliche or off-the-ground. Words also play a role in my photos too, as they could add another layer (or twist) of background info or feel to the photos themselves.
——
V:
In what way do you present it?
J:
Analogy with an implicit storyline is what I always aim at when I take photos. Although double exposure comprises of only a fraction of my photography work, I believe it suits my visual philosophy well in (1) recording things happening or surrounding around myself/the city in terms of both factual archives and personal-based memory, (2) freeing up the mind by letting imagination flow in (as to temporarily overlap the concrete realities into some forms of surrealism, creating as a remedy for the chaotic world). So I would say it is an aesthetically refreshing way of visual representation.
——
V:
Why did you choose this photo?
J:
One of my mostly used double exposure approaches is the experimental blending of observed urban moments with on-the-spot patterns/materials (I have been using the instagram hashtag #rambler_hkdouble to collect my double exposure photos posted on IG). For this picture of Mongkok, I first captured a V-shaped pattern of bluish/greenish tiles from a nearby pedestrian underpass, then I captured the second layer on the Argyle Street footbridge which oversees the V-shape urban canyon of Mongkok. This was taken by an old Nikon film camera with a discontinued film stock called Rollei CN200. I like how the grains and tints worked together to offer a mood of ruggedness.
——
V:
Is there a message that you’d like to share through your photos?
J:
I always try to capture the subtlety of a place (incl. urban fabrics and artefacts) through compositions and lighting. I hope my photos would bring a sense of resonance, reminiscence and reflection to my audience (whether HKer or not), connecting them with a place’s own history, her present reality and an extrapolation of the future.
My main channel of photo sharing is on Instagram, but I really treasure the interactions with my audience both online and offline, local and overseas, mostly through web comments, my own photo exhibitions or occasional organised photowalks. I love the moments when I try to inspire people, I got reversely inspired by them too. I hope these modes of sharing could continue in the future.

How to Order My Cookbook from Amazon Japan:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWsrMmA7AnI
One batter which magically divides into three layers, three different textures: a flan base, crème center, and génoise (sponge) top!
The recipe was originated in France and talked about in Japan in 2015.
However, if you expect smooth and creamy flan, you will get disappointed with the texture… it is pretty dense and chewy. Thus, I prefer the chocolate flavor. The flan base is just like the chocolate fudge and pretty addictive ;)

Hi, everyone. :) Today we'll show you how to make a delicious classic dessert: Classic New York Cheesecake.
There are so many different types of cheesecakes, and each one has its own unique recipe and ingredients. But New York cheesecake is my favorite dessert. It tastes fantastic and ultra-rich, creamy and dense. New York cheesecake uses digestive biscuits in the bottom, and a cream cheese base, and sour cream to create a lighter and denser taste.
This recipe doesn’t require a water bath, so it’s easy even for beginners. And no worry it’ll be cracks or sinking. The cake is classic and perfect. Hope you like. Enjoy. :)
This is an #ASMR ver, you can check out the other ver that with BGM and Voices in Chinese if you like:

Classic New York Cheesecake Recipes
Pan Size: a 7” cake pan (Ø 18cm)
✎ Ingredients
☞ For the crust
digestive biscuits 200g
unsalted butter 80g, melted
a pinch of Fleur de Sel or coarse sea salt
☞ For the filling
cream cheese 500g, room temperature
granulated sugar 160g
cake flour 15g
lemon zest 1tbsp
lemon juice 13g
egg 2
sour cream 300g
✎ Instructions
☞ For the crust
1. Put the digestive biscuits into food processor and blend to a fine crumb. Or you can place the biscuits in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin to fine crumbs.
2. Add the crumbs into a bowl and pour the melted butter and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined as the wet sand texture.
3. Use a towel paper to butter the bottom and sides of the cake pan. Then line with the prepared parchment paper on bottom and sides.
4. Spoon the crumbs into the bottom, use the cup to firmly press them down. For sides, make a even layer of crust around the side, press the edges as well. It should almost reach the top. Of course, you can use your fingers for the sides. Place in fridge for 30 mins to chill.
✎ For the filling
1. In a large bowl , add cream cheese and sugar, test the cream cheese with your finger, it should feel softer. Use a hand mixer to beat in medium low speed, until smooth and sugar has dissolved.
2. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and sift the flour into the bowl. Beat it in low speed to mix well.
3. Add eggs, keep beating in low speed until smooth.
4. Add sour cream, beat until just combined.
5. Pour the batter into the pan, gently tap the pan on the table to remove air bubbles.
6. Preheat the oven to 150°C, and bake in 50~60 minutes.
7. Time's up. Cool in oven with a door ajar for 1 hour. Then remove from oven to let cool, and chill in fridge for 6~8 hours before serving.
