我的出世紙上面就印有「Dion」這個英文名字，因為當我滿月的時候，媽媽的朋友帶了一本為嬰兒改名的書，讓媽媽挑選最適合我的名字。媽媽那時候說：「就選一個代表『快樂』的名字吧！」剛好那本書寫著「Dion」的寓意就是「快樂」、「歡欣」，所以這就成為我的名字了。
直到讀中學的時候，有一節課堂，老師讓我們找資料查看自己名字的來源，我才知道原來「Dion」源自於希臘神話裡面一位神祇「Dionysus」的縮寫，而祂不是「快樂之神」，而是「酒神」。當時我的第一個反應是：「天啊！我媽搞錯了！！！」
後來我再查証資料，原來Dionysus除了是葡萄酒之神，也代表著「豐收」、「派對」、「狂歡」和「慶典」，就是古希臘年代的Party King嘛～所以代表「快樂」應該也很合理（？）Dionysus在古希臘神話的意義非凡，在我心目中也非常重要，起碼我愛喝酒的這個特質，也全部都可以推搪給這個名字😂～
