My husband calls me UNITED NATIONS - he jokes about it and teases me - so, while you can count his closest pals with just one hand, I have so many close friends of different groups and I really work hard in sustaining those relationships.
Why? Because I believe everyone comes to your life for a reason. Even the ones who may have hurt you or no longer present in your life.
This would be our third Malam Amal with @kindnessmalaysia, and I’ve gotten to know some of the single moms better during the course so it was good to see them again during our annual iftar with the rest of my power #Celepets while making new friends a long the way.
I want to mention a special someone in this post.
Thank you @zieyanlim for enthusiastically saying YES when I approached you amidst our preloved bazaar chaos, to join #TheCelepets. I know you were supposed to check with the board before agreeing to do pro bono/ charity work and I am humbled you are onboard to help our pilot project. But not just that. You were my confidante and advisor during the process and I thank my lucky stars our paths met! I say this over and over to you and I want you to know how much I ❤️ you. We found each other in Tokyo, we will definitely find each other during the good and bad. InshaAllah. To many beach holidays and play dates in the future... Ameen!
Thank you @styleannexe for styling me up so elegantly. I love how comfortable my kurung was as I ran from one venue to another handling logistics. The shawl from @maxfashionasia was perfect to keep my om gere hair neat, as I had no time to get it done before “showtime”.
