This is an English cover of "Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana" (The Only Flower in the World), a well-known song performed by Japanese boy band SMAP (founded in 1988 and disbanded just last year in 2016), with lyrics by singer-songwriter Noriyuki Makihara.
While I usually create my own translations, there was already a fantastic English version of this song by Hiromi De Young (YouTube linked below in the credits), and a great translation of the chorus by Nelson Babin-Coy (channel also linked). I used my favorite parts of each of these and made a few of my own changes.
I hope this song's message of acceptance and uniqueness reaches a larger audience through my cover.

*Note: As usual, most of the translation is very close to the original meaning, but the second pre-chorus (the verse starting with "I saw a small flower...") is actually quite different from the original. However, I loved these lyrics so much that I kept them :)
The original meaning of the verse in Japanese is:
I didn't even know his name

Just like a flower that was blooming

今回の英語詞はいつもと違って他人の訳詞を使わせていただきました。Hiromi De Youngによる素晴らしい英訳とNelson Babin-Coyによるサビ部分の素敵な英訳に、自分の変更を少し入れて歌わせていただきました。（お二人のYouTubeチャンネルへのリンクは下記のクレジットに記載しました。）

※ちなみに、この英訳はいつものようにかなり原曲の歌詞に近いのですが、2番目のＢメロ（「I saw a small flower」から始まるところ）だけが原曲の意味とかなり離れています。それでも、ここの英語詞があまりにも素敵だったのでそのままにしました(^^)/

這首歌在裡面不知道打了幾百次XDD
這次只用簡單的三個軌道錄成(鋼琴、主唱、和聲)
不但感覺比較純淨舒情，還可以偷懶(?)
鋼琴間奏的部分因為要聽原曲彈出來實在有點麻煩
所以就小小改編了一下
但也即興的關係
因為每次彈完就忘記剛剛彈了什麼
所以鋼琴特寫部分都要一邊錄音一邊錄影XD

今回は、秋になると聴きたくなるコブクロの「Million Films」をカバーさせていただきました。
なお、初の試みとして、この曲のイントロ解説動画を付録として作成してみました。（5:15～）
このイントロは難易度が高めですが、弾けるようになるとすごく気持ちのいいリフです。
この解説動画が皆様の練習のお役に立つことができれば嬉しいです^^
余談ですが。。。
フィルムカメラで100万枚の写真を撮るためには、36枚撮りのフィルムが27,778個必要です（非現実的。。。）
デジカメの場合、市販品で現在最高容量の512GB SDXCカードを使っても、900万画素の写真が約13万枚しか撮れません。
100万枚の写真を撮るためには、高価なSDXCカードが8枚も必要で、そのコストは約22万円です。。。
（撮影可能枚数やコストは、あくまでも目安です。）
結論、100万枚の写真を手軽に撮るには、まだまだ道程は長そうですね。。。^^;

This time, I covered "Million Films" by Kobukuro. I feel like listening this song when autumn comes.
Now, as my first attempt, I made an appendix video "How to play the introduction part of 'Million Films' ?". (5:15-)
Playing this part may be a slightly difficult, but I think that it is a very pleasant part once you become able to play.
I hope this explanation video will be useful for your practice.^^
This is off topic, but...
If we take one million photos by film camera, it needs 27,778 rolls of 36-exposure film. (That's unrealistic...)
In case of digital camera, even if use 512GB SDXC memory card which is currently available maximum capacity, we can only take about 130 thousand photos with 9 million pixels photo quality.
For taking one million photos, expensive SDXC card is needed 8 pcs and its cost is about USD 2,000...
(The number of remaining picture and the cost are just a rough standard.)
Conclusion, there is still a long way to go to take one million photos easily...^^;
