คุณ Andrzej Zawadzki หัวหน้าฝ่ายออกแบบเกมเพลย์ของ Cyberpunk 2077 ได้ประกาศลาออกจาก CD Projekt Red แล้ว หลังจากทำงานมายาวนานเกือบ 8 ปี

- Final Fantasy XIV เปิดให้บริการครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2010 แต่ก็เรียกได้ว่า ย่ำแย่ เพราะนอกจากจะโดนสื่อต่างๆ หวดจนยับแล้ว ยังโดนผู้เล่นถองเอาจนไปไม่เป็น ด้วยปัญหาทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างที่เกมนำเสนอในวันแรกที่เปิดให้เล่น จนสุดท้ายทาง Square Enix ต้องยอมโละทุกอย่างทิ้ง แล้วเริ่มทำใหม่หมด และเปิดให้บริการอีกครั้งในอีก 3 ปีให้หลัง ในชื่อ Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn ที่ได้รับความนิยมจนกลายเป็นเกมฮิตและออกเนื้อหาคอนเทนต์ใหม่ๆ จวบจนทุกวันนี้ ไปพร้อมกับการเป็น 1 ในเกม MMORPG ที่ดีที่สุดตลอดกาล ซึ่งมันฮิตในระดับที่ทำเอาเซิร์ฟเวอร์เต็มจนคนล้นอยู่บ่อยๆ จนผู้พัฒนาต้องออกมาขอโทษที่เกมได้รับความนิยมขนาดนี้ และออกมาตรการเตะคนออกจากเซิร์ฟเวอร์หาก AFK เกิน 30 นาทีด้วย

แต่ในขณะที่ผู้เล่นระดมถล่มถ่มถุยและขอคืนเงินกันให้จ้าละหวั่น Hello Games กลับปิดตัวเงียบ และค่อยๆ อัปเดตเกมไปทีละนิดๆ ออก Expansion ใหม่เป็นระยะๆ จนเวลาผ่านไป 5 ปี เรียกได้ว่า No Man's Sky ในตอนนี้ก็ใกล้เคียงและในหลายๆ แง่ ก็ทำได้มากเกินกว่าที่เคยให้สัญญาไว้เมื่อก่อนเกมวางจำหน่ายแล้ว และกำลังจะออก Expansion ใหม่ในชื่อ Frontiers เร็วๆ นี้

- Cyberpunk 2077 วางจำหน่ายเมื่อปี 2020 ด้วยชื่อเสียงที่ทำมาได้ดีมากๆ จาก The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ทำให้ Cyberpunk 2077 เป็น 1 ในเกมที่แบกรับความคาดหวังจากแฟนเกมอย่างสูงลิ่ว ด้วยโลก Open World ที่เปิดกว้างขั้นสุด สายการเล่นที่หลากหลาย โลกไซเบอร์พังก์สุดดาร์คกับวงการลูกปืนที่น่าค้นหา

และก็อย่างที่หลายคนทราบกันดีว่า แม้ตัวเกมจะสามารถทำยอดขายได้มากกว่า 13 ล้านชุด และคืนทุนการพัฒนาตั้งแต่วันแรกที่เกมวางขาย แต่ก็ปฏิเสธไม่ได้ว่า Cyberpunk 2077 ไม่สามารถทำได้อย่างที่แฟนเกมจำนวนมากคาดหวังเอาไว้ โดยเฉพาะปัญหาด้านประสิทธิภาพของตัวเกมบนเครื่องคอนโซลยุคที่แล้ว อย่าง PS4 และ XB1 จนทำให้ Sony ถอดถอนตัวเกมออกจาก PlayStation Store ไปยาวนานถึงครึ่งปี

และจวบจนทุกวันนี้ผ่านมากว่า 8 เดือน แต่ตัวเกมก็ยังไม่มีการเพิ่มเติมเนื้อหาคอนเทนต์ใหม่อย่างที่เคยให้สัญญาไว้ และออกมาเพียงแค่ Patch แก้ไขประสิทธิภาพของตัวเกมเท่านั้น (แต่ละ Patch ก็ทิ้งช่วงกันนานเหลือเกิน) ซึ่งในตอนนี้ยังอาจจะยังบอกไม่ได้ว่า อนาคตของ Cyberpunk 2077 จะเป็นอย่างไรต่อไป และตัวเกมจะกลับมาผงาดอย่างที่มันควรจะเป็นได้หรือไม่ นั่นเป็นสิ่งที่ชาวเกมอย่างเราๆ คงต้องรอดูและให้กำลังใจกันต่อไป
