【《#火線追緝令》#大衛芬奇 對結尾的巧妙安排 】

「電影公司後來重寄了我替本來的導演Jeremiah Chechik修改的版本， 但Fincher接手後，堅持要拍原版。」編劇Andrew Kevin Walker慶幸，這個當初被電影公司認定太過殘酷黑暗，而被否決的版本，能意外被導演 #DavidFincher 採用，其結尾也成為最廣受討論的經典片段。
　
「有人頭的盒子」其實從來沒被拍到內容物，僅透過特寫警探Somerset打開盒子的神情舉止，與拍攝箱子外側的畫面交錯剪輯，加上殺人犯John Doe的台詞，暗示警探Mills（以及觀眾），箱子裡到底有什麼。
　
最後Mills舉槍指向John Doe，Fincher更巧安排在其中一格畫面（1/24秒），放入Tracy的臉，最終才迎向結尾——被憤怒吞噬的Mills槍殺John Doe，完成、也結束了七宗罪。
　
「光是Morgan（飾演警探Somerset）的詮釋，就足以讓觀眾相信，自己有看到箱子裡的人頭。」《火線追緝令》剪輯師Richard Francis-Bruce表示，Fincher對自己達到怎樣的效果，有十足的掌控能力。
