Walking into the first quarter of life felt like reaching a crossroad, overwhelmed by the multitude of societal expectations.
Everyone around me started looking at life with higher discernment, constantly wondering what is “the purpose of life”. For some reason, we always associate the purposes of life with certain achievements. A better job, a bigger house, a higher pay. And when we think about achievements we always think “big effort”, “drastic changes”.
Some of us will feel lost at this point of life, when the desire to bring about changes doesn’t match up with the effort we put in.
But we often forgotten that changes can be really simple. To change that soda that comes with your meal to a glass of plain water. To add an extra day of workout in your week. To change the way you think about yourself as a person who is “not good enough” to someone who “has infinite potential”. To change ourselves into individuals with better energies.
Small efforts as such will definitely cast a butterfly effect on our future, whether we are able to envisage it now or not. Try to bring small changes into your daily decisions & mentality, and positive changes shall be brought into your life! 💪🏻
