It’s very important for our kids to have a strong command in English from a very early age . So start them young . For us we use both English & Malay at home but the girls sometimes speak Mandarin between them not wanting us to know what they are talking about . They even sing Chinese songs together and I would pretend to sing along .
Children pick up languages at a very fast rate between 1-6 years old . They are like sponges and absorbs everything .
So if you want them to master a language , do it between these times .
