Yippee! We made it to the weekend and it's time to head out and have some fun. No laundry, no homework, no cooking, no cleaning - for today at least. Lol.

We had a nice mum-and-kids Friday night where we dined at the food court, went to play badminton, ran around, danced, played on a swing and watched TV before we called it a night. So happy we can all sleep in tomorrow, haha.

We ❤ this photo spot along Topiary Walk in Canopy Park. Yup, instead of traditional macaques as the wise monkeys, we have our own, unique Ah Meng version of Kikazaru (hear-no-evil monkey) and Mizaru (see-no-evil monkey). Cute, right? We are just missing Iwazaru (speak-no-evil) monkey though.

Do you know? Topiary refers to the art of cutting plants into attractive shapes, especially of animals or birds, or plants which are shaped this way. We love spotting the animals amongst the greenery in the imaginative Topiary Walk and enjoying a simple but happy mum-and-kids stroll.

Can't wait for the weekend to come so we can go out for more fun, play and relaxation as a family again. Weekdays wear me out, especially on solo parenting days, but that's what makes the weekends so awesome and deeply treasured too.

Happy Saturday night! We went on a cruise adventure with the cutest monsters from Hotel Transylvania 3 and despite not having watched the first two shows, we found ourselves laughing in our seats and it was touching to see how the show, which is supposedly monster-centric when you hear the title, focus on heartwarming themes like love and family ties.

We especially love the surprise ending and the kids almost wanted to jump up and dance to the music too! My favourite part of the show is the strong and unbreakable fatherly love Count Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) portrays for his daughter Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez), it's really sweet!

The movie opens in theatres on 12 July, it's definitely a light-hearted and entertaining show suited for the whole family.

Thanks to @sunplay_sg for inviting us to the screening today! We just used our new Sunplay Kids UV Mist SPF60 PA++++ at this afternoon's swimming session and I am so loving how easy it is to spray and apply onto the kids. 👍😁

P.S. Now for some arcade fun before we call it a night with a family supper! Don't you just love weekends too?
