#失身記首度踏上非洲大陸
於今日 (06/18) 北非突尼西亞加貝斯🇹🇳 (Gabes) 開展囉！
“ #Bodyless ” set foot in Africa for the very first time, participating in the Gabès Cinéma Fen festival in Tunisia!
GCFEN (Gabès Cinéma Fen) is an annual film festival event in North Africa since 2019. The goal is to establish a dialogue among the film industry, visual art, and virtual reality, and also hold events for filmmakers and practitioners to exchange ideas. GCFEN is held in Gabes, a city in southeastern Tunisia. From the perspective of art, the festival cooperates with the local cultural and environmental organizations closely to rethink and relocate the position of the city in order to cope with coming challenges in the future.
There are a total of 70 films, with 15 VR films, which will be shown in the GCFEN this year. “Bodyless” was invited to represent Taiwan. With intriguing historical content and contagious scores, “Bodyless” can no doubt build an unconventional visual and auditory landscape, different from traditional films, for African audiences to experience.
GCFEN （Gabès Cinéma Fen）位於北非地區一年一度的影展盛事，自2019年開辦以來今年為第三屆，影展目標是建立電影領域、視覺藝術與虛擬現實之間的對話，也舉辦電影從業人員彼此交流的聚會活動！GCFEN在突尼西亞東南部的城市——加貝斯（Gabes）舉行， 並與加貝斯的文化和在地環境協會合作，以藝術作為出發點，來重新思考這座城市的定位與面臨的未來挑戰。
今年GCFEN 共有70部電影參與展出，其中有15部VR作品，《失身記》受邀作為台灣的VR代表作品，其中引人入勝的歷史文本，以及極具渲染力的配樂，相信可為非洲的觀眾展現出不同於電影與視覺藝術的視覺體驗，跳脫既定視覺及聽覺想像空間！

Hsin-Chien Huang's latest work, “Samsara Ep.1” will be shown at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) in Switzerland.
This year NIFFF has not only made “Taiwan” as its theme, but also added three different elements: Fantasy, Asia, and Digital. In cooperation with TACCA, a special section called “FORMA FANTASTICA” will debut with four categories: feature films, animated shorts, series, and immersive contents. Up to four seminars will be available during the festival. Come discover the diversity and awesomeness of Taiwan’s artists and their works!
Especially in the “Immersive Contents”, NIFFF has made the connection and interaction between audiences and museums stronger to bring out some of the boldest and the most forward-looking issues via showing immersive performances.
Huang’s “Samsara Ep.1” intertwines a variety of issues, such as ecology, technology, distribution of recourses, and warfare, leading audiences to reflect on existence, environment, and other philosophical concepts. It is believed that Taiwan’s VR and XR productions and the creativity for immersive content can attract more international filmmakers and fans with the promotion from NIFFF.
Upcoming Events: Huang will show up at an online presentation, held by NIFFF, to share his insights and experiences when creating “Samsara.” The event will take place at 5:15 p.m. on July 5!
瑞士🇨🇭紐沙特國際奇幻影展 NIFFF (Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival) 將在 7/2 展出黃心健《 #輪迴》上集囉！
NIFFF 設有奇幻、亞洲與數位三大單元，而2021年官方特以台灣作為主題國 🎉，並且與 文化內容策進院 Taiwan Creative Content Agency 攜手合作👯♂️ 以「奇幻福爾摩沙」（ FORMOSA FANTASTICA ）專題單元，「 #劇情長片 」、「 #動畫短片 」、「 #劇集 」與「 #沉浸式內容 」等四大類別，展期中還有四場座談活動，來共同嶄露台灣作品的多元與精彩！
尤其在「沉浸式內容」的展出單元中，NIFFF更是透過沉浸式作品的展出，增強觀眾與博物館之間的互動連結之外，最終也能由真實的體感來彰顯一些大膽前衛的議題。而黃心健《 輪迴》上集劇情則是牽動著關於生態、科技、資源分配與戰爭等諸多議題，引領觀者深刻反思自身存在、環境等哲學意涵。相信透過NIFFF 的加強推廣，能讓臺灣在 VR 和 XR 等沉浸式數位創作的創意內容，可以得到更多國際影人與粉絲的關注！
