SANTI BURGAS HOUSE REVIEW: Santi Burgas is a niche fragrance house based in Barcelona, Spain. I first found out about Santi Burgas while looking around on Youtube for new niche fragrance house that launched a line in 2016. In my honest opinion, I think this is a very cool house, with some interesting fragrances to try, the particular line that I'm reviewing is called the "White Collection". This collection's main theme is "Animalic". Most if not all of their fragrances will contain some kind of animalic note like oud, musk, or civet. Hope you guys enjoy watching this house review :)
FRAGRANCES MENTIONED
Egnaro- This is a orange/ civet fragrance, it's a weird citrus. It's citrus-y without being bright, it's animalic without being skanky. Like the best blend of both genre is how I like to put it. This is my favorite from the line by far.
Miss Betty Vair- This one opens up similar to Aventus with the pineapple like smell but oddly enough, it doesn't have pineapple listed in the note breakdown. Dry down smells like a very nice clean musky vibe. I like this one, but it does lean for feminine.
Oikb- This fragrance is an iris bomb with an animalic kick. It iris starts off very strong but tones down to become a more ever mix with the animalic note. Great compliment getting fragrance, this got me the most compliments out of all the selection. One of my favorite iris fragrance to smell, but not to wear, because it does have more of a feminine touch to it.
Eau Dada- This one is very strange. It's patchouli with a bright atmospheric kinda vibe. I don't like this one at all, it smells like a mess to me.
Oud De Burgas- I'm going to explain this one in the most simplest way. It starts off with barnyard oud, then transition into a smooth woody smell. The barnyard smell last about 30 minutes which is too long for me to want to go through a skanky barnyard smell. My least favorite out of the line.
Flaming Red- This is an okay one but just not my taste. It's a rose oud combo, but the oud is way too overpowering and it over shadows the other notes, making this smell very imbalanced. If the oud was tone down it would be quite a enjoyable scent for me. But as for now, not really my taste.
