【#社區自主進行式：荃葵青團隊社區報告】
10月1日，荃葵青團隊召開了第一次地區會議，約40位團隊成員和朱凱廸在選舉後再次聚頭，一起商討地區工作的各種可能。由於荃葵青組橫跨兩大區域，包括了兩個島區，而且不同地區都有各自面對的問題，所以我們分成荃灣及馬灣、青衣、葵涌及荔景三個小組討論。
會議中，團隊提出了環境、民生、城市規劃等等議題，明白要展開針對性的社區工作，除了深入社區，了解街坊的需要，也要認識相關政策和條例。
經過一輪討論，我們總結出以社區力量推動政策的重要。短期內，團隊將會首先開展banner升級再造的工作，並會籌組動保行動組。我們亦會努力探索和重啓區內的公共空間，與街坊一起發掘更多空間使用的可能性。
會議裡，荃葵青團隊商討有興趣關注的議題包括：人口老化、私樓維修、交通、醫療、環境污染、街市空置率、工廈轉型、動物權益、屏風樓、少數族裔、公共空間、村代表選舉
[Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi team (TKT Team) community report]
On 1 October, the TKT team held its first district meeting. About 40 team members including Eddie met again after the election to discuss the possibilities of working in the district. Since the TKT team covers over two major areas, including two islands, and different areas have their own major concerns. We have divided into three groups, Tsuen Wan and Ma Wan, Tsing Yi, Kwai Chung and Lai King to have our further discussions.
During the meeting, the team raised up issues such as environment, people's wellbeing, urban planning and so on. We have understood the need to carry out targeted community work in order to build an in-depth relationship with the community. We will also try our best to understand the needs of our neighbourhood as well as to understand the relevant policies and regulations.
After a round of discussion, we summarized the importance of community-driven policies. In the short term, the team will be the first to carry out the work of upcycling the banners which we collected before and well as to initiate the action group of Animal Welfare. We will also endeavor to explore and revitalize the public space in the district and explore the possibility of more space use with the neighborhood.
During the meeting, the TKT team discussed topics of interest such as aging population, private building maintenance, transportation, medical care, pollution, vacancy rate in the market, transformation of industrial buildings, animal rights, walled building, ethnic minorities, Village Representative Elections.
