卡洛琳‧馬拉凱(Carolyn Malachi)是一名集爵士、嘻哈、口語藝術 (spoken word)和豐富想像力於一身的藝術家。她充滿靈魂的歌聲，在鼓、鋼琴和貝斯的襯托下，讓MTV將她列為「五個令人著迷的R&B歌手」之一。2013年，她推出了完整專輯《Gold》，其中的電台金曲〈All Right〉和〈Fall Winter Spring Summer〉，被美國公共廣播電台(NPR)列入「公共廣播電台無法停止播放的十首歌」歌單之中。當被問起比較偏好饒舌、歌唱還是有聲詩時，Malachi答道：「最終，音樂才是一切的優先，因為音樂就是自由。」Carolyn曾在2011年獲葛萊美獎「最佳都市／另類演唱」獎提名。

Carolyn Malachi, a soulful singer backed by drums, piano and bass, combines jazz, hip hop, spoken word and lots of imagination. In 2013 the artist whom MTV calls “one of five R&B artists to obsess over” – released a full-length album. GOLD includes FM/XM radio hit “All Right” and “Fall Winter Spring Summer,” which NPR named to its 10 Songs Public Radio Can’t Stop Playing list. When asked whether she prefers rapping to singing or spoken word poetry, Malachi replies, “Ultimately, the music comes first, because music is freedom.” Carolyn also earned a Grammy award nomination in 2011 for Best Urban/ Alternative Performance.
