In an effort to bolster security, the American Institute in Taiwan and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office recently signed an agreement to share information about lost and stolen passports. Sharing this information will strengthen the integrity of U.S. and Taiwan passports and better protect travelers. As we celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Taiwan’s entry into the Visa Waiver Program, this agreement is an example of how the United States and Taiwan continue to enhance the program to promote secure travel.
