Ngày 20/1, ông Joe Biden đã làm lễ tuyên thệ và chính thức trở thành Tổng thống mới của nước Mỹ.

Trong buổi lễ trọng đại này, ca sĩ Lady Gaga đã nhận vinh dự trình diễn bài hát quốc ca "The Star-Spangled Banner" cùng dàn nhạc quân đội. Sau phần trình diễn của Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez đã thể hiện hai ca khúc "This Land Is Your Land" và "America the Beautiful" để khép lại buổi lễ.

Việc sử dụng âm nhạc trong các chiến dịch tranh cử phổ biến từ năm 1997, khi Tony Blair dùng bài "Things Can Only Get Better" của D:Ream và nhận được những phản hồi rất tốt. Âm nhạc từ đó trở thành một phương tiện giúp các chính trị gia truyền tải thông điệp một cách tinh tế.

Trước khi chính thức trở thành tổng thống thứ 46, ông Joe Biden đã đưa ra danh sách 46 ca khúc giao thoa của nhiều nền văn hóa, dân tộc khác nhau; là một tập hợp gồm nhiều thể loại âm nhạc, từ rock, jazz, cho đến underground hip-hop,… Qua đó ông mong muốn đề cao tinh thần đoàn kết và sẵn sàng đón nhận mọi sự khác biệt.

►拷秋勤簡介
拷秋勤，用生命與態度打造每一首屬於土地的歌。

拷秋勤的音樂以融合台灣元素與西方Hip-Hop元素見長，舉凡南北管、客家八音、客家山歌、台語老歌、歌仔戲等都是他們的創作元素，近年更開始加入原住民音樂元素，曲風也走向更加多元，包含雷鬼、電子等樂風也多有涉獵；歌詞方面主要以台灣發生的大小事為主，舉凡黑心食品、詐騙集團，甚至是文化發展及台灣歷史故事都是他們書寫的題材，使用的語言包括國語、台語以及客家話外，也會邀請原住民音樂人跨刀合作，大力運用台灣本土元素，創造屬於這塊土地的聲音。

在征戰國內各大小音樂祭後，2007年起，拷秋勤的音樂開始往國外發展，被超過30多個國家的音樂電台以及雜誌放送介紹，並開始以「世界放風聲」為名，每年到海外各地巡迴演出，足跡踏遍 Tokyo、New York、Nashville、Singapore、Hong Kong、Toronto、Halifax、Vancouver & Montreal 等地，除於該地 Live House 演出外，也受邀到海外各地的音樂節演出，除每次演出帶領著台下觀眾高喊台灣外，充滿台灣風味的音樂及傳統樂器也令外國樂迷對台灣印象深刻，成功用台灣軟實力將台灣文化散播到海外各國，2010年更被遠見雜誌列入新台灣之光的行列，外國媒體也以「台灣Hip-Hop大使」、「台灣Hip-Hop的新希望」等稱號來介紹他們。

成軍至今已經九年，拷秋勤將會持續為這片土地發聲，創作富有土地生命力的歌曲，寫下更多這片土地的故事。

► Q&A時間

Q：成軍過程？
我們樂團今年第十一年。最初的成員是fish、范姜、還有fish的同學阿德，在北科大成立。成立原因是為了社團發表會，臨時組了這個團，當時團名也是臨時亂湊的，就一直到了現在。成軍之後，參加了海洋音樂祭，加入了當時高中快畢業的陳威仲。

Q：對你們而言音樂是？
小時候玩音樂的時候一定會覺得：啊，音樂是一切。後來我們把音樂當作是除了生活的工具以外，也是一種傳達理念的方式。同時，也是一種蠻有教育意義的行為。

Q：對於音樂可以傳達訴求、故事的看法？
那是一種社會責任，你願意用音樂來讓大家接觸到你想傳達的議題。我們覺得這是每個樂團或是每個音樂人都該負有的責任。雖然大部分藝人是選擇不去碰，因為不碰就不會有事端，所以他們比較愛談論的就是動保，因為動保沒有任何的色彩，反核的政治色彩也會低一點點，但反核其實也就是政治事件。我們團是全部都會參與，極度政治我們也參與，因為這就是我們的風格和生活，我們不會避諱。

Q：最關心的議題？
我們其實一直都在。但台灣主權或獨立的事情，是我們最關心的。從我們成團開始，就一直在參加一些台灣主體意識的活動，反對中國併吞，這是最基本的。，服貿其實也跟這個相關性很深。服貿還沒簽的時候，我們就跟黑島青一起從事這些抗議。當時，守住立法院，爬牆…，我們也是唯一在那邊聲援的樂團，我們被警察抬、當糾察隊，都是一起參與的。

Q：哪一首歌在戒嚴時期有可能被禁歌？
會被禁的歌其實很多耶。
官逼民反是一定會被禁的，但其實歌詞裡面是在講歷史故事，我們用隱射的方式講一件事情。我們本來就是這個思想啊，我們沒有在避諱。

Q：想對來音樂節的聽眾說甚麼？
多參加才會多舉辦，大家才會活下去。希望一直辦下去，讓大家一起聚一聚，一起關心社會議題，因為每年都一定會有不同的議題發生。這是最好的聚集大家的機會，而且又可以看表演，有什麼不好？我們有擺攤！攤位是激進！
