相信聽過中文版本“不聽”的朋友都知道這首歌是在寫有一個人他要前進他夢想中的山頂,沿路大家都跟他說路途充滿艱辛他不可能到達的了,眾人不斷對他威脅恐嚇或冷嘲熱諷,但那人不為所動好像沒聽到一樣,而最後他終於到達了他夢想中的山頂,當大家問他成功的訣竅時他卻還是像沒聽到一樣沒回答,原來…他是聾子.
他只聽的見他心裡的聲音,朝夢想一步一步踏實的前進..
我也用這首歌來勉勵自己,唱英文rap前進美國市場絕對有超多困難得克服.
首先是用不是母語的語言創作,因為時差問題,我除了每天白天處理國內人人有功練的事情,接著每天晚上就是跟國外饒舌歌手skype喬英文歌詞.不只歌詞意思要喬到100%精準,更要喬到聽起來像我的用字.
然後很多人也笑我發音不夠標準,其實我也同意ＸＤ.
但我也知道我只要一直比別人更努力我就會越來越好,我有把握不久的將來我能把英語像母語一樣創作與饒舌.
再來是更多人笑我前往美國發展是不切實際是癡人說夢,但對我而言,那裡就是嘻哈的發源地,是我一切夢想的開始.
還記得以前我們一群人在台南的小巷子裡跟朋友開玩笑時總是幻想說有一天要去紐約發展, 說有一天要跟這些偶像們合作.沒想到我真的像拼圖一樣集滿了我最喜歡並影響我最深的三個饒舌歌手Nas,Talib Kweli,Ghostface Killah去完成了第一張英文EP.小時候的玩伴們感動的說以前開玩笑的話語沒想到有一天居然成真了～
原來“夢想”只要肯拼,肯踏實的去做,你就有可能做的到 .
別忘了,迪士尼的一切都是由一個夢想和一隻老鼠開始的～
所以當沒有人相信你的時候 你越要相信自己 ！
保持信念,傾聽自己心裡的聲音,讓我們一起前進 前進 前進！！！

This song is about a man wants to go to a place where no others have ever gone to. On his way, everyone is telling him how dangerous and impossible the trip is. Eventually the man reaches his destination. When people ask him how he does it, he has no response – because he is deaf.
This is a story I use to represent myself. A lot of people have told me how impossible my goal is, but I have kept my faith and moved forward.
