2 days of theatre in a row! The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, 29 March to 8 April at the Esplanade Theatre. Such a spectacle. The production was so beautifully done! Loved the way they used the set and the cast was soolid! It was really illuminating to see a family with a special needs child, a glimpse of the struggles they face, and to be able to see it from the child’s point of view!

A Good Death by Faith Ng at the Esplanade Theatre Studio which will run till the 1st of April, this Sunday. This was powerful. A palliative care doctor with the people she cares for, preparing for death, herself with a sick father at home. @karentan_flipflops creates freaking magic on stage. Such depth, such empathy to all the 17 characters, it is really magical to watch. Deftly directed by @asher.beer.caffeine, i love the way she gives time to all the small moments that carry so many emotions, so much weight, and gives you time to feel. The sound, light and set design, fantastic. Everything was so perfect. And that script... @lowkeygrandeur 😭 compelling, funny, moving, heartbreaking, so powerful. ♥️ (that is us having a mini Normal reunion, another powerful play by Faith that we were in!)

Special shoutout also to @esplanadesingapore who have been welcoming audiences with special needs over the years. Last night, there was a sign language interpreter and closed captions for a deaf audience member, and on the 8th of April, there will be a Relaxed performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time which is specifically designed to welcome people on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities, and those with learning needs, communication needs, or physical disabilities. 🙌🙌🙌
