這部電影真的是非常好看，甚至還被好萊塢翻拍成《神鬼無間》(The Departed)，由李奧納多、麥特戴蒙等一線明星主演，後來更是一舉奪下2007年奧斯卡最佳影片。不過在我們心中還是原版的最好看，今天晚上21:00，LSTime電影台要播出喔！
<心得>
話說李奧納多的新片(The Revenant)中文片名貌似要叫做【神鬼獵人】，昨天分享預告時網友 羅浚瑋 貼心的幫忙整理了一下，片名之中有【神鬼】兩字的電影...實在是非常壯觀的一張清單。
還不包括叫【鬼神】的喔！

Leonardo DiCaprio、Martin Scorsese 傳聞將近一個世紀的第六度合作《白城魔鬼 The Devil in the White City》終於開始執筆劇本，預計將於一月投入前置作業。

兩人從 2002 年《紐約黑幫 Gangs of New York》、2004 年《神鬼玩家 The Aviator》、2006 年《神鬼無間 The Departed》、2010 年《隔離島 Shutter Island》、2013 年《華爾街之狼 The Wolf of Wall Street》，準備第六度聚首。
改編自美國記者兼作家 Erik Larson 於 2003 年根據真實事件所撰寫的犯罪小說《白城魔鬼：奇蹟與謀殺交織的博覽會》，曾獲得隔年的愛倫坡獎肯定。

李奧納多在六年前已經買下此部作品的電影版權，派拉蒙影業負責推動，原本預計將由《模仿遊戲》的金獎編劇 Graham Moore 提筆，後來改為《怒海劫》的編劇 Billy Ray 接手。
馬丁史柯西斯由於新片《沉默》的推出，在過去半年期間都必須把《白城魔鬼》的計畫暫時擱置。雖然還並未透露影帝將飾演劇中哪個角色，但電影公司希望導演能從明年一月開始重新啟動，將這部精彩絕倫的故事搬上大銀幕。

故事敘述在 1891 年的時候，芝加哥奪下世博會的主辦權，在這個因此名揚國際的白城裡，同時也見證了魔鬼的誕生。
當時市政府委任一名建築師擔任世博會的負責人，他運籌帷幄、居中協調，在有限的時間與預算下，整合各大設計師的分歧，親手打造了前所未有的白城奇蹟。
然而同時，一位聰穎傑出的醫生也來到芝加哥，使用多個不同的化名，不僅詐欺大量金錢，還打造華麗的旅館，連續誘騙並殺害多位少女。
他們一個萬眾矚目、一個不知不覺，交錯在芝加哥博覽會前後的時空，混搭璀璨風華與厄夜謎團。兩個人物，兩段故事，光明與黑暗也同時正在上演。

台灣曾在 2007 年的時候出版過《白城魔鬼：奇蹟與謀殺交織的博覽會》的中文翻譯小說，由漫遊者文化所發行，但現在是處於絕版狀態，希望會因為電影的籌備而再版。
