瘦身美顏一take過
「韓國第一美女」金泰希今年40歲,育有兩女,仍然保持童顏般的肌膚及苗條身型,她曾公開養顏秘訣是經常吃自製的山藥煎餅,將山藥磨碎,加入麵粉攪拌搓成一片煎熟即可。山藥又名淮山,從中醫角度來看,山藥具補腎精、健脾胃、補肺氣的功效,適合脾胃虛弱、肺腎兩虛、陰虛內熱者食用,新鮮山藥的黏液富含多糖蛋白質,有助降血糖,所以亦適合做糖尿病患者的食療。山藥含有大量膳食纖維有助減肥,但同時含有澱粉質,所以食用山藥時注意適量減少米飯等主食,配合適當運動,減肥效果更佳。
山藥煎餅
材料:新鮮山藥半條、麵粉或地瓜粉3至4湯匙、鹽適量
做法:
1. 新鮮山藥去皮磨成蓉,注意要戴手套處理,因為山藥黏液會刺激皮膚引致痕癢。
2. 逐少加入麵粉或地瓜粉拌勻至稠身,加入適量鹽拌勻調味,搓成小餅狀。
3. 燒熱油鍋,加入山藥餅煎至兩面金黃色及熟透即成。
山藥/淮山 — 性平,具補腎精、健脾胃、補肺氣功效,適合肺腎兩虛的慢性咳喘、氣短哮鳴、脾胃虛弱引起的腹瀉、遺精盜汗、夜尿頻多者食用。要注意容易便秘者不宜食用。

DIY Chinese yam pancake
Aid weight loss and enhance beauty in one go
Kim Tae Hee, one of Korea’s most beautiful women, is 40 years old this year. Though she is already a mother to two, she still manages to maintain the body shape and skin condition like that of a teenager.
She has once attributed her weight loss success and beauty secret to Chinese yam pancakes. In order to prepare this delicacy, we need to grind the Chinese yam into fine bits, mix it with some flour and turn the mixture into a paste. From there, we can start pan-frying the paste until it becomes the Chinese yam pancake.
From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, Chinese yam, also known as ‘wai san’ in Cantonese, can nourish the kidney, strengthen the spleen and stomach, and replenish the qi in the lungs. It is suitable for individuals who have a weak spleen and stomach, those with deficiency in the lungs and kidney, as well as people with the yin deficiency and internal body heat.
Fresh Chinese yam’s slimy mucus-like substance contains protein and polysaccharides that can help reduce blood sugar levels. Hence, diabetic patients can incorporate into their diet.
Chinese yam also contains a large amount of dietary fiber that can help individuals shed some pounds, and at the same time, provide the carbohydrates we need in our diet.
Nevertheless, do cut down on the intake of rice if you wish to include Chinese yam into your diet. Exercise regularly as well, as it can help you achieve your weight-loss goal much faster.
Chinese yam pancake
Ingredients: 1/2 stick fresh Chinese yam, 3-4 tbsp flour or sweet potato flour, salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Peel Chinese yam and mash. Handle it with gloves on as the fresh Chinese yam’s slimy mucus-like substance may irritate the skin and cause itching.
2. Add flour or sweet potato flour gradually and mix well until thicken. Add salt to taste and knead into small pancakes.
3. Heat the pan with oil, add the pancakes and pan-fry until golden brown and cooked.
Chinese yam - mild in nature, can strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, replenish the lungs and promote fluid production. It is healthy for those with weakened spleen and stomach, chronic cough and asthma, diarrhea caused by weak spleen and stomach, nocturnal emission, night sweats, and frequent nocturia. It should be noted that people who are prone to constipation should not eat it.

Breakfast - OVERNIGHT OATMEAL
1) 1.5 cups Rolled Oats
2) 1.5 cups Soy Milk
3) 3 tsps. Honey or Maple Syrup
4) 2 tbsps. Dried Cranberries
5) 2 tbsps. Chia Seeds
6) 2 tbsps. Peanut Butter
Steps:
1) In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
2) Spoon the oat mixture into 3 jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
3) Top up with your favourite fruits before eating.
Lunch - TUNA SALAD
1) 2 Cans of Tuna Chunks
2) ¼ cup Plain Yoghurt
3) ½ tbsps. Lemon Juice
4) 1 tbsp. Cranberries
5) Salt & Pepper to taste
Steps:
1) Combine all the ingredients together.
2) Pack half of the container with your favourite vegetables and be generous. Separate the Tuna mixture from the salad to keep it fresh.
Snack - HEALTHY BANANA WALNUT MUFFINS (serves 12)
1) 1/2 cup greek yoghurt
2) 1.5 cup Rolled Oats
3) 2 Bananas, mashed
4) 2 eggs, beaten
5) 2 tbsps. Honey
6) 1/4 cup crushed Walnuts
7) 2 tbsps. Cranberries
8) 1 tsp. Baking Soda
109Cals per muffin
Steps:
1) Pre-heat oven to 180C or 350 Fahrenheit.
2) In a large bowl, mash bananas, whisk in eggs, greek yoghurt and about honey. Stir until well combined and set aside.
3) Blend, rolled oats until fine.
4) In a separate bowl, mix in all the dry ingredients, oats, baking soda, crushed walnuts and cranberries.
5) Combine wet and dry ingredients together. Keep mixing until you get an even batter.
6) Divide equally to 12 cupcake liners and bake for 15 minutes or until muffins are cooked through.
Dinner - BAKED FISH WITH VEGETABLES (serves 3)
1) 500g Frozen Tilapia, any fish or meat of your choice.
2) 2 Carrots – 25Cals
3) 1 Red Bell Pepper
4) 1 head Broccoli – 98Cals
5) 1 Sweet Potato – 112Cals
6) 1 Red Onion – 46Cals
7) 6 Garlic Cloves, crushed – 27Cals
8) 1 tbsp. Olive Oil, divided – 69Cals
9) 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar – 3Cals
10) ¼ tsp. Mixed Herbs
11) Salt & Pepper to taste
Steps:
1) Pre-heat oven to 220°C/425°F.
2) Then slice up all the vegetables.
3) Rub fish with olive oil, mixed herbs and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
4) ArrangE all the chopped up vegetables on the bottom of a baking dish. Season the vegetables with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and mixed herbs. Give it a good mix.
5) Then arrange the marinated fish on top of the vegetables and cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.
6) Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until fish is done.

Hello subbies :)
So as some of your may have noticed through my Insta posts, my meal preps have recently changed and as promised, here is the recipe for it!
This recipe is made for people who are lazy (me), want to stay fit (me) whilst being able to enjoy food AND actually feeling FULL after a meal. Definitely not about that 'starve yourself' kinda of lifestyle!
This meal combines together different flavours all in one box to help curb your cravings and leave you feeling satisfied :).. at least thats how I feel after it.
I haven't given out exact amounts in terms of grams per meal prep box because that is accustomed to my body type (e.g. calories to maintain etc), workout lifestyle and goals. Hence, it is so so so important that you find what's the right amount for you :)

Recipe Details
Ingredients:
- Chicken Breast
- Purple Sweet Potato
- Broccoli
- Tomatoes
- Shiitake Mushrooms
Chicken Cooking Details & Seasoning
- Paprika, Black Pepper, Mixed Herbs, Chilli Flakes & Chicken Powder
- Cook off in a non-stick pan with a tiny bit of water
Purple Sweet Potato
- Wash, peel, boil and mash!
Broccoli
- Wash, cut and boil!
Shiitake Mushrooms
- Soak (preferably overnight)
- Slice into smaller pieces and soak seasoned water (soy sauce, chicken powder & black pepper)

Ohagi or Botamochi is a traditional Japanese sweet made with sweet sticky rice and sweet Azuki (red bean paste). There are different stories about the origin of having two names: you can google and find them, but either name is correct to call. BTW, I call it Ohagi when it is coated with red bean paste with skins. Botamochi without skins. hehe
We enjoy Ohagi or Botamochi as an everyday snack but it is commonly sold in stores during the buddhist Higan holiday in spring and fall, and Bon holiday in summer as well for an offering to the ancestors.
Homemade one is very soft and delicate!!!

Ohagi / Botamochi (Japanese Sweet Sticky Rice Balls)
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 1hr
Number of servings: about 10 pieces
Ingredients:
1 rice measuring cup uncooked Mochi sticky rice
1 rice measuring cup uncooked white rice
Tsubu-an (sweet Azuki red bean paste with skins)
Kinako (soybean flour) + sugar if you like
ground toasted black sesame seeds + sugar if you like
Aonori (green laver)
Directions:
1. Wash rice and leave for about 30 minutes.
2. Put the rice in a pot, add water to the appropriate level indicated in the pot. Place the pot into the rice cooker. Cover and press the button to start.
3. When it's done, mash the rice with a wooden pestle then toss the rice with a rice paddle (or you can use a potato masher). Repeat this to mash halfway through or until you get the grain texture to your preference.
4. Divide the rice and Tsubu-an (red bean paste) to make them easy to work with. Red bean outside: 40g rice + 60g red bean paste. Rice outside: 70g rice + 30g red bean paste.
5. Use plastic wrap or wet your hand with water to form them into an oval shape. Coat the rice ones with Kinako, sesame seeds, or Aonori.
