My son, Sean (10), has just started using this grammar book. I am so impressed with this series of books - it gets kids writing unbelievably complex sentences.

While such complexity is risky for people who don’t have a firm foundation in English, it is excellent for children who are native or near-native speakers of English.

The only bad thing about this book is that it doesn’t have an answer key, so it’s not very suitable for self-study.

【台語英文課：ㄙㄨㄥˇ 英文怎麼講？】

我會的台語不多，
但我常常在街上聽到人家說：「哇，好 ㄙㄨㄥˇ」
（我常聽到跟我個人有關係嗎？不會吧~~~~~~）

那，如果你想跟外國人表達「ㄙㄨㄥˇ」，英文該怎麼講？

相信大家都是很有格調的人，應該不用提醒你們 Don’t do anything tacky!

那......最 tacky 的事就是在公共場所大聲地說糟糕的英文。
