✨AIT在本周舉辦了一場聚會慶祝LGBTIQ驕傲月！今天是1969年紐約石牆起義的週年紀念日，當年LGBTQ人士群起反抗恐同者和警方的騷擾。法律之前人人平等是美國和台灣的共享價值之一，我們期待美台持續合作推動雙邊的共享民主價值！於此同時，美國也會持續努力實踐我們立國的根本原則。

✨Earlier this week, AIT held a community gathering to celebrate LGBTIQ Pride month. Today marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising in 1969, a resistance movement addressing homophobia and police harassment of LGBTQ people. Equal protection under the law is one of the many values shared by the United States and Taiwan. We look forward to continuing our cooperation to advance our shared democratic values. At the same time, the United States continues the hard work of living up to our nation’s founding principles.
