Dash stunned me when I was reading to him the nursery rhyme The Crooked Man by suddenly reciting the passage in its entirety! Without stopping! It goes like this:
There was a crooked man
He walked a crooked mile
He found a crooked sixpence
Against a crooked stile
He bought a crooked cat
It caught a crooked mouse
And they all lived together
In a little crooked house

I never encountered the word "stile" until I was at least 6(?) and read it myself in Enid Blyton books. I always thought it meant a fence of sorts of only today, upon using google image, found out it's a structure that lets you go across a fence. And I realised it was drawn into his nursery rhyme book.
