Ho Chi Minh - Dalat - Quy Nhon - Danang - Hanoi - Sapa
10 days of riding, from the BMW R1200GS to KTM 390 Duke, covering over 2,500KM from South to North Vietnam, through temperatures as hot as 35°C in Ho Chi Minh to as low as 5°C in Sapa, braving through torrential rains, scorching sun, misty thick fogs and also surviving the ride in complete darkness up into the mountains.
From slippery tarmacs, to sticky muddy off roads, a thousand pot holes, here's what we went through along with an interesting experience on Vietnam's overnight railway during this spontaneous journey of ours.
Through the vibrant city, the vast beaches, the rolling rice terraces and deep mountain valleys, Vietnam has so much hidden treasures waiting to be discovered and now that we've done it, we can absolutely say no regrets to ticking this adventure off our bucketlist!
