Labour Day is a good time to.... stay home and dance!
You have seen many clips of the kids and I dancing but this is the first hubby-and-wifey one ever - that is, minus one kid walking to and fro, one staring at us and one crawling under. Haha.
This makes me reminisce the good old days days when we would go partying without having a care in the world and have conversations which didn't revolve around kids, school work, disciplinary issues or what groceries to buy. It's so rare that we found time to do this together but staying home gave us the chance to and I am glad we made use of it.
This Bollywood Hip Hop routine was chosen by the hubby okay, dun play play. Haha. Love that the moves were easy enough to follow yet still let us perspire and have fun. The kids joined us too for the second dance but for today, I am focusing on just us.
Thanks to A Million Little Echoes and @Life's Tiny Miracles for inspiring us to have couple workout sessions and reminding us that it shouldn't always be about the kids. So, the next time we annoy each other and feel our blood boil, I guess the solution will be to just dance it off or go for a night run together when the kids are in bed.
P.S. I am not the only one who lost a few kilos recently, the hubby also did! Haha. Hopefully we can try to inspire each other to stay sporty, be spontaneous and keep fit together. Okay wait, that doesn't mean we can't have some whisky or sake every now and then too. Right?
