I have done quite a few jobs before when I was younger . I think my very first job is promoting toothpaste in the supermarket. ( if I didn't remember it wrongly , it was Colgate ? ) The pay was RM 80 for 10 hours standing in the supermarket . I used to be very scared working jobs like this because I'm afraid of rejection. Like you just need to smile and not take it personally and move on to the other person. 😂😂😂😂😂 ( especially when they reject your flyers / products etc )
I've given out lots of flyers before too as promoter girl in all sorts of fair back in my hometown. Did freelance modeling before too !
Then in college I interned for a designer. Rushing garments till midnight because of fashions shows is really scary hahahahahhahahha !! I think of working fast so I could finish faster , and I won't stop till the job of the day is done so it won't need to be brought forward to the next day. But actually work will never finish lol. #truestory
These few days I helped out at a friend's hardware shop so that it can be officially open for business next week. I've never done a desk job before like dealing with computer the whole day . ( I'm very bad with computer stuff ) But I'm glad that I tried ! I can learn things quite fast if I'm focused and if I have the opportunity to . Just glad that everything is done and business can start tomorrow !!
I think I'm always scared to try something new because I fear that I'm bad in it or I wouldn't succeed , but it's all in the mind. I am glad that I'm still alive today being able to be surrounded by good friends , doing things I like , being healthy , see the world , have healthy cats and learning new stuff everyday !
